You woke up with a sore throat. Probably from the violent night you had last night with those werewolves. You dragged yourself out of bed and tried to look as decent as possible.

You exit the bathroom to see Dean and Sam already awake and ready to go.

"You ready?" Sam asks.

"Yeah," you say and sneeze right after.

Then three more.

"(y/n) you okay?" Dean asks.

"Fine," you sniffle. "Let's go."

You get to the next town where you had found a case. As soon as you walk into the motel room, you plop on the bed.

"(y/n) what's gotten into you?" Sam asks.

"Think it was the wolves last night. Think I'm sick," you admit.

Dean puts his hand on your forehead and you feel like a kid in a nurse's office.

"She's burning up," Dean diagnoses.

"(y/n) get some rest," Sam suggets.

"Fine," you say.

You change back into your pyjamas and lie in bed. You spend your day reading, taking short naps, and you catch up on the latest Sherlock episodes, even though there were only two.

"We're going out for a while, need anything?" Dean asks putting on his jacket.

"Soup would be nice," you say.

"You got it," he winks and they leave.

While you're keeping busy and taking care of yourself, Castiel shows up.

"Hello (y/n)," he says.

"Hey Cas," you answer simply.

"You don't look alright," he notices.

"I'm sick."

"Yes, yes. I've seen sick humans before. Although, I can't really relate. I've always wondered, what does it feel like?"

"Not good. Your bones hurt, stuffed or runny noses, sneezing and coughing. All cause of some tiny bacterias inside your body," you say feeling like a smartass.

"That sounds awful. I hope you will feel better soon," he sympathizes.

"Me too. Thanks Cas."

Cas stays with you for the rest of the time until Dean and Sam get back.

"Hey (y/n), how you doing?" Sam asks.

"Better," you reply.

They heat up your soup and Dean brings it to you.

"Here you go princess," he says and you smile. Princess was your nickname from when you were little because you always wanted to be one. Dean would only use it if you were sad or wanted to comfort you.

And even though you hated it, it worked.

You finish it pretty quickly since you hadn't eaten all day and it tasted so good.

"Anything else beautiful? The doctor is in the house," Dean jokes as you put the bowl on the coffee table.

"Can you stay with me?" you ask.

"Of course," he smiles and you cuddle.

By the end of the day, you're feeling much better.

"(y/n), you should drink some medecine before you go to sleep," Sam says in his doctor voice.

"No," you whine. "C'mon Sam, I'm feeling better."

"Just to make sure. We need you healthy if you want to come hunting with us."

Dammit. He knew you would never pass up a chance to go hunting. Especially with the Winchesters.

"Fine. But I am going with you on your next hunt, don't forget," you say sternly.

"Deal," Sam says.

You forcefully gulp down the bitter liquid and drink some water after. You climb in bed and get some rest.

You wake up the next morning, refreshed and good as new.

"Hey guys," you say waiting to tell them you're better.

"(y/n) shut up," Dean grumbles.

You walk over to him and touch his face.

"Dean you're burning up," you say. "Oh crap I gave you my cold."

"Not just him, me too," Sam complains.

"Looks like I get to take care of you idiots now," you smile and head out to get them some soup.
