^chapter 3^

After almost spending a whole hour arguing in front of the camera they finally decided to go with mark option.

During the ride things were pretty awkward between mark and haechan which is noticeable to both the dreamies and their managers.

"Look i dont know what u two fought about this time and i dont want to know anymore so just dont make it too obvious on camera" their manager talk to them without looking back and go back to do whatever on his laptop

"We're not fighting tho" haechan protest only to get ignored again while ride continue as normal with the boys talking and some sleeping.

After they arrived at the restaurant haechan quickly signal jisung to sit next to him.

While everyone is looking at the menu haechan tapped his fingers on the younger thigh for a while after he finish the younger just nodded at him.

Let's talk when hyungs are there instead. That's what haechan told jisung

Mark notice something go on between the two but as he about to ask them the waiter come and ask for their order. And When mark finish ordering theirs meals haechan quickly order alcohol and coffee for jaemin after.

The waiter asked for his id which caused the other to laugh out loud.

"We must look so young" mark keep laughing and hitting jisung that sit near him

"Obviously,     i look 16" haechan flip his none existent long hair and show a cocky smirk. The other look at them in relief as theyre continue bickering and laughing

There it is. The markhyuck they thought and waste no time in joining their 'parents' conversation

The filming was going great. Theyre full also a bit tipsy. mark pay for everything they decided to go different ways. Renjun mark jeno chenle and jisung continue hanging out taking pictures and stuff while haechan and jaemin when to another bar to continue their drinking session on live.

The live was just the same as usual but this time a few comments caught haechan attention and it never leave his head once its enter

Haechan will never understand their fan's obsession with seeing him and mark together. Yes he noticed it. He saw the posts, saw the comments, saw how the crowd's scream at their concert got extra louder as soon as him and mark doing something together.
He doesn't get it. They're best friends not lovers like jaemin and jeno. They've said it multiple times too. they're good friends, soulmates or whatever, they've never implied that they're dating like those two or crushing on each other like chenle and jisung. Haechan have seen an edit where their fan's caption say
^jisung and mark look at their man like they're the prettiest creatures on earth(they are)^
he can see why the fans say that about  jisung but mark? He cant see it at all. Maybe the fan think that because of how close they are. But why just him and mark? What about other haechan is clingy with them too.

He quickly shutted his thoughts and the chug the whole glass down and continue talking about randomest shit with jaemin to entertain their fans.

Another comment that caught haechan's attention the most.

Now that he thinks about it. It is kinda weird i mean its normal for him and jisung to not have any since all of them will probably be dead but what about the others?

He's pretty sure that they're all fairly popular to have saseangs or at least some stupid scandals. Bur nope they have nothing.

Don't misunderstand him he wouldn't want his members to have stalkers following them everywhere, but it  just wrong in his head that they never had any.....

I think too much. Haechan chug more alcohol and continues talking with jaemin like they normally do but those thoughts never leave his head at all. And by the time they end the live haechan is pretty tipsy not fully drunk but his head kinda become pretty empty.

"Markkkk" haechan whined to mark who seem to be on a phone call

"Hyuck? Youre drunk?" The elder quickly got off his phone and goes forward to the latter who's now laying in HIS bed, Mark's bed.

"Not really" a loud sigh was heard after that

"Hyung... about last night... why aren't u questioning me about it? Why weren't u freaking out? Why didn't u report me?" the younger asked while trying to sit up

"And. Where is he?" He look at mark straight in eyes as he sit up trying to see if there's any sort of anger nervousness or curiosity in them. He got none. Mark's eyes right now are empty. There's absolutely nothing in them just pitch black

"I thought u were scared and shaken so i dont want to freak u out or make them worse by questioning or reminding u what happened."

"And it was in self defense right? So the one i would report is that bastard but he's dead so I wouldn't bother" mark get on his knee and took haechan hand into his own while offering him a comforting smile.

" the body is with the police  and you dont have to be scared anymore the 'police' will find our who's behind it and take them 'jails' for good" mark now pull haechan into a long hug.

"Good job in protecting yourself. If you got hurt or worse he get u, i wouldn't know what to do with myself" he whispered while running his fingers through the younger's hair in a comforting manner.

And that is how haechan know that his best friend, Mark lee is a great lair.

If it weren't for the fact that he knows mark for years he would've believe him instantly. specially, with those fake comforting smile.
