A Certain Race

-They laugh and joke until they notice a car go by...-

"Guys, it's about to start!" Ashley says from the car's window, Rei and the others are surprised at hearing this. The window finishes going down as she exclaims "All the racers are there and they're gonna send out the notifications!", Ayaka adds from the passenger seat "Ya better hurry up: they wanna go as soon as possible because they're getting paid for how long they race!". The Hero replies "Wha??! W,w,w,we need to go!" , "Wait lil' buddy: how would she know!!?" Mac asked in annoyance, "She's Captain's daughter!" Rei reminds him, "Shit on a stick! I'm callin' Faire, but let's goooo! Let's run!". The group hurries to Mac's car and speeds away! 

They speed to the course as Rei calls Faire "Dude, man they're starting!" he yells, Miya looks at him as a relieved look gets on her love's face... "Ah Awesomness! See ya then!" Rei replies and hangs up, "What? He made it before us?" Miya asks. "He already hitched a ride with his uncle, so he's pretty close to the place!" Rei explains. "Did he get hungry like you guys did?" Windo asks "What do ya mean he's just pretty close?". "Hahaha! Dude's in a Gamechange! " the Hero revealed, "Piss poor uncle: mate told him he wanted to see a race, and he drops him off at a game place!" Mac somewhat joked. Rei laughs "Maybe, but Faire loves gaming too! Dude's probably lookin' for inspiration for his next game there!". They get to the overcrowded parking lot just outside the huge area surrounding the F--7 course...

Mac parks in a reserved place since they all have tickets to go, then Rei leaps out! "Faire! Hey Faire!" the Hero calls out, he then noticed and ran to Jésùs! "Yo dude!" Rei exclaims, "Huh? Rei, mi amigo!" he cheered! They give each other a handshake and bump shoulders, "What's up man? I thought you guys weren't interested in this crazy shit!?" Rei laughs, "I can say the same thing!" Jésùs chuckled "Why are you guys here? I expected to find usted in a McDaniels?". "We goin' ' cause Faire said he was kinda curious about racin' and shit!" the Hero explains, "Oh wha?? Actually we're just going because Ashley wanted us to! She invited all of Nonhuman, and Gertrude and the others too! I don't think anyone actually personally wanted to go, except Foura, and only because her lovah is here!". "Hahahaha! So that's what's goin' on! No wonder she told us to go ahead of time!" the Hero realizes! "Yeah man, now if you'd excuse me: I gotta hurry before she finds out we just stopped here!" Jésùs laughed, "Okay, we're supposed to be findin' Faire too!" Rei remembers as they part ways, though the former waves at Mac, Miya and Windo as he passes by! "Alright, there it is!" Rei says as he points to the Gamechange store. "He's putting us through some junk, that bloke is gonna make us late!" Mac reminded them in annoyance. "Uh uh... not since he's the one actually wanted to go!" Rei laughs,  they push through some of the crowd as most were going to the races, it became easier to push people aside until they noticed Faire preparing to go on the road... "Hey man!" Rei exclaims, "Wha?" Faire starts. The Hero shook his hand and shoulder bumped him too before he said anything, but gets out "I thought y'all already made it!". "Not without you!" Windo assures, "Yeah, we hadda make sure you were there!" Rei laughs. "Why AREN'T you there, Faire?" Mac asks. "After uncle dropped me off: I had to wait to get through the crowds, I don't even know where the entrance is from here..." Faire explains, "Ya push through 'em and find it, mate!" the Tank guffaws, the Hero laughs also "It would've been slightly safer than going around in the road!". "Probably? " Faire agrees with a laugh, they then turn towards the course! It's surrounded by huge metallic looking walls and lights shown brightly from behind them.... "Alright, full speed ahead! Ashley said they're starting early!" Rei cheered, "For real!?" Faire asks, and they rush to the colosseum!

As they go inside, while Ashley parks in her reserved space then runs out of her car. Ayaka and Surf come up behind her "Awww... we shouldn't of stopped at Taco Shell..." she sighs.. "Wha?! Why not?" her BFF asks as she finishes off another one! "Um... we, we'll be late!" the Heroine replied. "Oh yeah, alright *gulp!* lets do this!" Ayaka says and she runs off to the door. Ashley follows but looks around to be sure Faire isn't in the parking lot any longer....
