As they exchanged funny stories then Leah felt a sense of joy. Despite starting at a new school, she knew that with her friends by her side, she would never feel alone.

Time skip

The group of girls walked and talked telling each other what class they have while they walk down the hallway until when we bumped into a group of popular girls.

Leahs pov

We stopped walking and talking as this girl started talking to me saying "is that Tory Burch" before I can say anything my friend Nikki cut me off and said "oh no it's Walmart I got this and a water bottle for only $12" the popular girl cut her off before she could say anything else by saying "I was talking to her" as she used her phone to point at me and her friends put their fingers up to their mouth and shushed Nikki.

"m-me" I said as she said "your pants" as I replied with "oh yeah it is Tory Burch my dad bought them for me back when I was living with him" she didn't really reply to me but she stated something to me she said "pretty sure I saw Haley Bieber wearing the same exact pants you should hang with us sometime" and they just walked away as I softly said "ok we can exchange phone numbers later bye" with my accent.

I looked at Stacy and she said "that was weird" while Nikki said "I love and hate them at the same time" and all of them except me sighed "yeah" me being my confused self I just said "what just happened" nobody answered me we just walked outside and sat on a bench and talked.

While the girls were talking about their mitzvah projects or other people's projects I turned around and watched the guys play soccer I know all their names from my friends the tall one with blonde curly hair that's Andy goldfarb Stacy's crush the short one with brown hair and a tan jacket was Aaron Porter.

I was thinking in my head before one caught my eye a short boy with curly brownish black hair and brown eyes with a blue striped shirt on he was cute I'm pretty sure one of the girls told me he has girlfriend in college back in his hometown but I'm pretty sure that's illegal so I didn't believe it but before I could think anymore Stacy got hit in the head with a soccer ball by one of the guys on the field

We all jumped up and and went to go help her as I said "ay dios mio" in my accent and ran over to help her like the rest were as we crowded around her we helped her up as the group was crowding her and asking her all sorts of questions one of the girls said she has grass in her hair so I dusted it out and somebody tapped my shoulder.

I moved out of the way and the little boy I was thinking about earlier asked Stacy if she was okay but for some reason she didn't answer him she just ignored him so I answered him and said "hi umm" I said with my accent cuz I didn't know him. "Mateo" he said as he looked me in my eyes umm what race are you Mexican Dominican because you have an accent. I'm Puerto Rican I got my accent from my dad while I was living with him I said. Oh same I get my accent from my dad too he's Ecuadorian and my mom is black soo.

Me and Mateo both turned around to see what the girls were looking at they were looking at Andy goldfarb as we looked at him he did a chest tap and pointed at Stacy and Stacy did it back before anybody can say anything Mateo put his water bottle in front of Stacy's face and said "have some water"she grabbed the water bottle from him and Tara said "oh my God that was perfect he went and she tapped on her chest and then you went then she tapped on her chest again and said you guys are meant to be" we were about to sit back down until Mateo turned around and started talking to Nikki and said "hey are your legs okay Nikki" I would have said that too if I seen somebody's legs all bandaged up like hers instead of saying okay like a regular human being she said "they're fine Mateo just relax"she said aggravated for no reason I got up and started talking to Mateo and I said "sorry about her she's just mad that she has to bandage up her legs because she cut them shaving I don't think she uses shaving cream" Mateo just laughed and walked off

Time skip to bed time

As the soft glow of twilight enveloped her room, Leah let out a contented sigh, sinking into the plush comfort of her bed. Another day had come to an end, and now it was time to unwind and prepare for a restful night's sleep.

Leah began her evening routine by dimming the lights and lighting a scented candle on her bedside table, filling the room with the soothing aroma of lavender. The gentle flicker of the flame cast dancing shadows on the walls, creating a cozy ambiance that instantly put Leah at ease.

Next, Leah slipped into her favorite pajamas - a soft cotton set adorned with whimsical patterns of stars and moons. As she changed, she couldn't help but smile at the thought of drifting off to sleep in such comfortable attire.

With a yawn, Leah made her way to the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face, the warm water cleansing away the stresses of the day. As she gazed at her reflection in the mirror, she couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the simple joys of life - a warm bed, a cozy room, and a loving family.

Finally, Leah returned to her room and climbed into bed, pulling the covers up to her chin and snuggling into the pillows. She reached for her favorite book, a well-worn novel filled with tales of adventure and romance, and began to read by the soft glow of the candlelight.

Leah close he novel and put it on her bedside table and laid her head on the pillow and closed her eyes and as soon as she closed her eyes she was asleep just like that
