Thalie smiled at the flowers as she placed them in a vase. She then turned to Charles who was watching her with a small smile. She knew he didn't want to leave, he wanted her to come with to the Netherlands.
She chuckled, "Don't you dare look at me like that." She said as she walked past him. He let out an exaggerated sigh, "Is it a crime to want you there with me cherry?" he asked.
She looked back at him, a smile on his face, "You know I can't yet. I have work Charlie." She said. Charles plopped himself on the couch and sent him a pout, batting his eyelashes at her.
The model snickered and threw a pillow at his face making him laugh. He hugged the pillow, "Won't you miss me?" he asked. She sighed and turned to him fully, she was folding some of his shirts for his trip to the Netherlands, like how she would usually do.
"Of course I will. But I have to finish work before I can be there physically cheering you on." She reasoned. Charles hummed and reached out his arms and opened and closed his hands.
This made Thalie laugh but moved to him, sitting on his lap and wrapping her arms around him, "I have a proposal for you."
Charles raised an eyebrow at her, "You know I should do that now. Especially when you were the one to ask me out." Thalie flicked his forehead, "Ow!"
But she didn't say anything, she simply pulled off one of her rings, unclasping his necklace and adding her ring as a pendant.
"There. As if I'm with you." She said before kissing his cheek. He smiled and watched her as she clasped the necklace around his neck again.
She noticed him watching her, it wasn't like he did not watch her before but ever since that night on the streets of Monaco, something changed between them.
Well, it was bound to change. They did kiss and admit that they love each other, of course they wouldn't just be best friends.
"What?" she asked. He smiled, "Kiss me again." he whispered. Thalie couldn't help but smile and giggle, moving closer to him to give him a kiss on the cheek, Charles suddenly turned his head making his lips crash into hers. This made her giggle but continued to kiss him again. She felt him smirk and pull her closer. Ever since that night, it was as if they couldn't get enough of each other.
They were in cloud nine every day. Every single moment, they were like floating on a cloud of happiness and they didn't want it to end.
They wanted to make it work and they were willing to do so. No more searching, they were there already. Why look for anywhere else when they were in front of each other. Like they always have been.
Charles promised he would not waste any more time not being with Thalie. And Thalie promised she wouldn't let Charles go anymore.
