Pascale smiled as she heard the laughter of the best friends. She looked at people she was working with, she chuckled, "Be ready girls, the best friends are here." She said.

Before they could react, the door of the salon opened and the sound of the laughter and banter increased, "Charles! Thalie!" Pascale greeted with a huge smile and open arms.

The girl's eyes brightened and walked to her, letting the woman wrap her arms around her, "How are you? It's been a while since you visited me." She said. Thalie pulled away a bit and smiled at her shyly, "I'm sorry, I was a little busy." She answered.

The two women continued to chat leaving Charles to stand there watching the two of them in awe. It wasn't like it was the first time the two interacted, Pascale had accepted Thalie way back when they were young. But right now, it was that moment that made Charles realize how Thalie was accepted not only of the community he was in, his fans, but also his family.

Charles watched in awe as if he was seeing it for the first time. He didn't realize he was staring until the two women started to giggle at him. He realized it was him that the women are giggling at.

"Something funny?" he asked with a chuckle himself. "You. You're funny." Thalie said before turning back to Pascale who was smiling at the two.

"So, who needs a haircut today?" the mother asked. Thalie chuckled and walked to Charles, "Do you see his hair Pascale? He needs a haircut, pronto." She said.

Charles pushed her hands away as he laughed, "Stop that. Can I get my hair cut Maman?" he asked. Pascale chuckled and nodded, "Of course." She said and led her son to the chair.

As the mother and son continued to chat, Thalie took this chance to film them. She basked in the conversation between the two. Pascale noticed and smiled, "Do you both remember your childhood? When you couldn't live without each other." She asked.

Charles glanced at the girl who was filming, "I do. Are we the same as before Maman?" he asked. Pascale laughed but nodded, she had to admit, they did not change at all. This means Pascale's observations about the two did not change at all.

"Yes you are. Which means you're still perfect for each other." The mother said. This made Charles cough and Thalie almost dropped the camera, "Whoa maman, calm down." He said.

Pascale chuckled, "I never lied to Charles. Now stay still, don't move." She said as she continued to cut his hair.

As the mother continued to talk about the two, the best friends could not help but glance at each other. The two were processing what the woman was saying and was starting to realize how they haven't seen it for a long time.
