Elena was laughing as Charles made another comment about the dessert they had. They really hit it off, something Charles thought would lead to another date. Something he had hoped for.

Because despite not having that sense of spark or intense emotion yet, he had hoped and wished it would lead to that. But then again, dropping her off at her hotel. Standing in front of her at the lobby, he saw the smile she was wearing. It wasn't the same.

"Oh no. Is it me?" Charles asked with a bitter chuckle. Elena smiled back at him warmly, "No. I had fun Charles. You're a great guy and any girl would be lucky to see you the way I did."

He sighed and looked at the ground, "I'm sensing a but." Elena placed a hand on his arm making him look back at her. She was still smiling at him.

"But as much as you did try, I don't think I can offer you the love and happiness that you know already."

He looked at her confused making her chuckle. "You know when Kiara told me she was going to introduce me to you, I refused."

"Why?"

"Nathalie. Because despite not being together, you only look at her the way a lovestruck person does. And that's the only chance you look at a girl like that."

He looked at her confused still. "Don't worry Charles. You'll see it soon."

"Ow! Feli!" Charles yelped as he rubbed his arm. He glanced at the back seat to see his daughter glaring at him. "What did you do that for?" he asked.

"Really? Still not Maman?" Felicity asked her father. The mother laughed, "We're getting there sweetheart-" "Make it go faster!"

"You know that's not how life goes Feli." Charles explained and Thalie nodded. Felicity huffed, pouted, and crossed her arms, "Life is unfair."

Thalie let out a laugh, "Who taught you that?" The girl suddenly giggled, "Uncle Lando."

Charles shook his head, "You have to stop hanging out with Uncle Lando-" "But Uncle Lando-" "No Uncle Lando!"

"You suck!" "Felicity!" Thalie scolded her with a chuckle. "Sorry Maman. I didn't mean to Papa." She said quietly.

The driver sighed, he knew how his daughter can get especially when she gets carried away. "It's okay bebe, just don't do it again. It can hurt some feelings."

The father finally arrived at the paddock parking and parked actually good. Jules cheered for him making him chuckle, he turned to his family with a smile, "Ready to see your Tonton Tutur race?"

"Tonton Oscy!" Jules clapped happily as he pulled the orange hat from his mother's bag. Charles scrunched his face, "Still not used to that." He said making Thalie chuckle and kiss Jules' cheek, "I am. It's a nice break from the red."

The parents looked at their daughter who was putting a Ferrari hat on. Charles smiled proudly, "Your Tonton Tutur is driving for McLaren but Tio Carlos will love that-" "And Olliebear."

The parents chuckled and nodded, "And Ollibear." The Leclerc family got out of the car and walked to the paddock and was greeted by the people. The moment Jules was let down he ran to the McLaren garage, "Oscy!" Thalie laughed and shook her head, "I'll follow him."

Charles chuckled but nodded, he crouched down in front of Feli and smiled, "Where do you want to go? Ferrari?"

She shook her head, "Can we go see Uncle butterfly?" "Daniel?" Felicity nodded frantically and smiled, "Yeah, Louie is there!"

The former Ferrari driver raised an eyebrow at her but nodded, "Alright then, let's got to Uncle Butterfly and Louie."

"Yey!" and the father and daughter walked to the Redbull garage where Daniel was staying with his former teammate now team principal Max.
