Sunas mother smiled and walked off, another painting catching her eye.

A deep sigh escaped from Y/Ns lips, "God. That was my first time meeting a boys mom. Let alone a boy that I've.. that I'm.."

Suna smiled at her, as if saying "go on".

"Well, you know."

He hummed, "No, I don't think I do. Please, tell me."

"Shut up."

He laughed as he held her hand, walking around to look at the art, "Your mom didn't come?"

"No. She was going to but then she got called into work."

"Oh shit. Sorry."

"Nah it's fine. Her job is at their busiest right now so I get it."

Before they could continue together, her teacher called her so she left Suna to look by myself.

One painting really caught his eye.

He wasn't sure why, but he had a feeling he inspired it.

His eyes dragged down and saw Y/Ns name on the tag next to it.

She named this painting "Persistent".

It made him laugh. She called him persistent a lot before their relationship went forward a step.

The girl finally made herself back to him and saw his eyes were so stuck on the painting.

But after seeing which it was, her face went red, "Hey, let's go look at the others."

When she tried to pull him away, he stopped her, "Y/N, can I have this?"

"What?"

"When it gets taken down, can I have it?"

"Why do you want it?"

He looked at her red face and she frowned, "Sorry. I didn't know she was going to put this one up. I was planning to throw it away when I got it back."

"Well don't, I want it."

"Okay."

Suna mother then walked up to them, placing a hand on their shoulders, "Rin, I have to get home my boss just sent me something he needs me to work on like, now. Were you gone stay?"

He nodded and she smiled at Y/N, "Once again, your work was beautifully done. You really should consider making this your career. I'll see you later!"

The older woman rushed out, leaving the two teens alone.

When the art showing was over, Suna walked Y/N home.

He kept teasing her about her work that was inspired by him. Which made her face turn the deepest shade of red there is.

Once they stopped in front of her place, she face him, brushing her hair out of her face, "So.. what'd you think?"

"It was really nice actually. I can see why your teacher put a lot of yours up. Yours were the best ones. Not biased."

She laughed, "I'm glad you liked it. Listen, there's something I wanted to talk to you about."

He tilted his head a bit, letting her know she had all of his attention.

Her eyes looked into his as she stood straight, trying to look confident, "I like you, Suna. I like you a lot. I wanted to know if you'd like to go on an official date tomorrow night."

"Ah...." He softly replied as he nervously scratched the back of his head.

"Unless you dont want to.." She added in response to his hesitation.

"No, it's not that. I have practice games like, all day tomorrow so I can't. How about the day after?"

"Oh. Yeah that works too. Soo, was that a yes?"

"Only if you let me plan it."

A smile spread across her face before she got on her tiptoes and placed a quick kiss on his lips, "Deal."
