Natatawa naman sumunod 'yong dalawa.

AFTER 1 HOUR

"Hi baby, I missed you so much." my mother whispered, catching me off guard with her words.

A surge of emotions coursed through me as her motherly embrace enveloped me.

Her tight hug and gentle sobs against my chest left me momentarily stunned.

Initially tense, I eventually softened and reciprocated her hug, embracing the warmth of the moment

This feels so nice

I thought.

"I missed you too, Mom" I responded, tightening my embrace while soothingly caressing her back.

"You're so dramatic honey, Kivriel's shirt will get wet if you don't stop crying like a baby there." My father teased my mom, sinamaan naman s'ya ng tingin nito.

My mother playfully pinched my dad, and I couldn't help but smile at the sight.

"Hi baby, I missed you so much." I was shocked at my mother's actions.

Emotions rush through my body as I feel her motherly hug.

She hugged me so tight while sobbing to my chest.

At first, I stiffened but later on I hugged her back.

This feels so nice.

"I missed you too, Mom" I replied and hugged her tighter while caressing her back.

"Stop being dramatic honey, Kivriel's shirt will get wet if you don't stop being a baby over there." My father teasingly said.

My mother playfully pinched my dad, and I couldn't help but smile at the sight.

Daddy approached me, giving a brief but warm hug.

"Looking good as always, my genes are clearly doing wonders in your body" he quipped with a hint of pride.

I chuckled in response, buti na lang hindi ako nag mana sa kayabangan n'ya.

The embrace continued, and he glanced behind me.

I turned around and looked at my friends, smiling awkwardly with my parents.

That's when I realized we were in the auditorium, we began to attract attention from those passing by.

My father shot them a stern look, and they all trembled.

"Dad, stop scar-" I couldn't finish my sentence as three hands landed on Father's stomach.

"Stop scaring our kids, kuya!." my aunties whined.

Sabay sabay naman napahinga ng maluwag sila quin.

My father burst into nonstop laughter, thoroughly enjoying scaring my cousins.

"HAHAHAHHAHA OKAY OKAY, COME HERE GUYS GIVE ME A HUG." lumapit naman agad sila Lian sa kaniya.

Tumabi naman sa'kin ang apat, I also greet my auntie's and Tito's.

I was still processing the unexpected events when my mother turned to me.

"Kala ko ba 9 ang play n'yo bakit hindi ka pa nakakapag prepare, kivriel? It's that what are you going to wear?" my mom asked.

I looked at her confusedly.

"Play? Hindi ako kasali sa play, mamaya pang 11 ang dance competition." I replied.

"Ohhh you're cousins here told us na you're going to act the main lead." My father said.
