Chapter 29

{Andrew's POV} "Are you alright sweetheart?" I ask my eyes softening to show my deep concern. "Yeah." She sighs. "I was worried you were going to pound his face in. I'm proud of you for keeping your cool." "I was about to, honestly. He treats you like that and then so happy to see you. I don't understand that kid." We step inside and Sadie shakes the snow out of her hair. "Two?" the hostess asks. "Yup." "Right this way." She smiles brightly and leads us to a candle lit table, perfect for two. I pull out Sadie's chair. She giggles and says "Why thank you sir." I wink and take my seat. I take a sip of water. My palms are kind of sweaty despite how long we were in the cold. I probably should wait but, I take Sadie's hands. Our eyes meet. "Sadie, I know we are young, but I love you with all of my heart. I will never break your heart, ever. I hope you know that." She nods. "I waited so long for you to let me into your heart as your boyfriend. If it is alright with you I want my love to mean more. We were meant for each other. I want to spend the rest of our lives together." I get down on one knee and she gasps. By know I have the whole restaurants attention. "Sadie Hayes, will you marry me?" her face is priceless. I patiently wait for a response. {Sadie's POV} I don't know how to respond, I'm speechless. "Andrew this is very sweet but, I'm not-"I'm cut off by my mother. "Sadie, you have to say yes, it won't be real unless you make it real." Everyone's staring. "Andrew Gray, it would be my honor." I smile brightly and hold out my hand. Andrew slips the ring on and we both stand up as the restaurant cheers. We hug and kiss briefly before we sit down. "Do you know?" he mouths and I nod. I can't believe this. I know one thing for sure. We both plan to make this real. Someday.

Chapter 30

{Sadie's POV} Andrew orders for me, knowing that I'm not picky and we have similar taste. I sit waiting with one hand intertwined with Andrew's and the other open so that I can admire the ring. "I love you." I say not only to fill the silence but to express my one and only feeling at this moment. "Wow, three words can mean so much." I say. "My love for you cannot be described by words. You leave me speechless." He kisses the back of my hand and I blush at that yet again. His hand starts sweating when I gaze into his green eyes and smile. "Do I make you nervous?" "Sometimes..." he admits. "How come?" "You are unpredictable. I see a flame burning behind your eyes, just like your mother. Speaking of your eyes, I get lost into the deep, rich, brown beauty of them. Not to mention your smile that brightens the room, I fear that it will fade, when it does fade depression strikes." "Andrew, we have known each other pretty much our entire lives why haven't I heard this before? Did I just not notice?" "No, it's just we have never been together like this." "I see. Don't worry Andrew, you can tell me anything just know that." "Same here." Then, I see someone near the bathrooms trying to get my attention. "Excuse me; I have to use the washroom." I walk at a normal pace so that Andrew doesn't suspect anything. As I get closer I realized who it is. I see standing in his uniform, Lucas.

Chapter 31||

{Sadie's POV} I reach where Lucas is standing and he ducks into a coat closet and yanks me in with him. "What do you want Lucas?! And you better make it quick!" He flicks the light on and notices my ring. "What the hell is that?!" "I'm getting married." "No!!! No! No!" He screams. "What do you expect Lucas?" I stand too close to him for my liking. "You treated both of us like crap and you expect me to be nice to you?!" "Sadie,I wanted you and I to talk earlier when we were outside. I didn't know he was gonna propose. I'm sorry. Please give me another chance you're my girl. Please?" I'm trying not to give in,but he treated me so badly I'm never dealing with this again. "Never. Never Luke." I turn around to open the door,but he whips me back around. He has tears running down his face. He has a tight grip on my shoulders. We stare at each other for a minute. Then,he pins me against the wall and forces a kiss. A violent forceful kiss,the kind that I hate. I start crying,screaming,and struggling.
