I took a deep as I entered the police station.

Seeing my mom again is not part of my bucket list but here we are.

Jake has always been supportive as usual.

Jake was holding my hand the whole way here and I wouldn't trade it with any other shit.

"You can do this" Jake winked at me.

I nodded as I went to the front desk trying to not look nervous.

"Can I help you?" The female cop smiled at me politely.

"I'm here to see my mom... Uhm... Liwanag Rivera" I smiled at her.

"Oh okay, hold on for a moment okay?" She smiled.

"Okay" I nodded.

I waited for about like fifteen minutes and the female cop that has "Arrellano" in her name plate smiled as she gestured me to follow her.

I looked back at Jake and he nodded at me and smiled assuring him that he will wait for me.

I put my sunglasses on and follow Arrellano inside.

It's a bit dark inside the backroom or I don't know what it's called, but it's a dark room.

And there's a white table and my mom was waiting there and she smiled as she saw me.

"Cameron" She smiled.

"Mom" I sighed as I sat in front of her

"How are you baby?" She smiled with tears in her eyes.

Gosh she looked so old, I can already see the wrinkles in her face.

Jail must be so tough for her.

Good...

I don't feel bad for her, she lied to me and she kept lying.

"When are you gonna tell me that Dad actually disowned me because he knew I was gay?" I glared at her.

"Cameron" She looked at me in shock.

"Answer me mom" My eyes started to water but I am lucky enough to have worn this fabulous sunglasses.

"You didn't" She cried.

"What did you expect? Social service came to our house wanted me in Foster Care without dad... Why would you lie to me again??" I gritted my teeth in anger.

"I was just trying to protect you"

"From what? I should be protected from you"

"Your Dad is a dangerous person!"

It's true... He is... still is...

"He's only dangerous because you cheated... I talked to him... And convinced him, now I'm moving back with him" I lied.

"NO!! DO YOU WANNA END UP LIKE YOUR CLASSMATES?!!" Mom cried hysterically.

"What? Rich and had a better life?" I smirked at her smugly.

"DEAD!! LEFT IN THE WOODS TO ROT, CUT OPENED DIAGONALLY WITH ORGANS OUT?!!" Mom screamed at me.

"Diagonally?" I looked at her confused.

"What?" She calmed down and looked at me confused.

"How did you know?" I asked.

"What?"

"How did you know they were cut diagonally?"

"Everyone knows that! It's in the news" She frowned.

"No, it's not!! They never disclosed how it was cut, the only part they released in the media is they were cut open... How did you know it was diagonal?"
