Chapter 2 - The change -

Charlie's P.O.V
I stared at the ceiling in my room mindlessly as I kept replaying what happened to me two days ago, I have been noticing a lot of changes in me I am lighting fast, I can sense objects being thrown at me minutes before they are thrown at me, I have a huge scar on my back and I was hit by lightning, to top it off, my family is all of a sudden being...angels towards me....I don't know what this is, but I do know everyone has scerects in highschool, mine could destroy the world....or possibly save it, I also noticed electrical bolts going trough me, sometimes I could generate electricity from my bare hands, but that happenes when I am nervous only....I dont knkw what to do...so far no one knows about this power of mine...and if I want to keep out of trouble it would have to stay that way....
"Darling are you up?" My aunt asked as she walked in to my room...yeah this will never get old for me, how did they go from hating me to being so....nice?
"Yeah....what can I do for you?" I asked sitting up
"Oh nothing just wanted to tell you that dinner is ready" she said with a big smile on her face
"Okay" I said before sitting back down on my bed, usually they don't want me to eat with them
"Well, come on then..." She said making me sigh a bit
"You want me to eat with you?" I asked confused
"Yes, why wouldn't I?' she asked making me shrug
"You usually don't allow me to..." I said
"Nonsense you are family, come on" she said before taking my hand leading me down to the dining room
This is weirder then the changes I am going trough
"So...Charlie, we have noticed that you are being distant with us...and I know that we haven't said anything untill now but why are you acting like we are the bad guys?" My uncle asked as I was about to say something but they cut me off
"We know you are going trough changes" they said making me look up at them
"You can say that right..." I said
"Everyone your age goes trough the same changes tho, just want you to know we are here for you" they said
I looked at them giving them a slight nod and a fake smile...I don't think every normal teenager gets struck by lightning and develops....powers...but sure I guess they are right...
"Right...well the changes are hard...but it's nice to know that you guys have been stroke by lighting too" I murmered as they looked at me
"What?" They asked making me shake my head
"Nothing at all..." I said looking at them before continuing to eat avoiding to look at them

Thunder's P.O.V
"We would have to move to New York, that's where the hero is and we would have to identify them..." I said as my wife sighed a bit
"You know I can't leave...but if you have to if it is your duty, you and our daughter can go...and we will talk every day" she said
"I would be honoured to come with you dad" Olivia said as I nodded slowly...she has deleoped a new power aside from her water powers, she has the ability to teleport as well now, she is turning in to a wonderful hero right in front of my eyes
"Thank you for being so good with this....I thought you would be... Dissapinted" I said looking at her
"Why would I be dissapinted? Just because I have been reading my whole life for this, to be the chosen one and now....a mortal gets to be" she said crossing her arms
"I am sending a bit of a jealousy" I said as she sighed a bit
"No...I'm fine dad...really....I will be honoured to guide our hero on the right track along with you" she said
"I am sure that you are, but just to be safe I would love it, if you didn't act all...cold twoards them" I said as she sighed a bit looking at me
"Why would I? Just cause they are living my dream? It makes no sense for me to prove to the universe that I should have been the chosen one and not that mortal" she said
I glanced at her as she nodded slowly
"Yeah I just heard my self...nothing will go wrong I promise" she said before making me smile a bit
"Now go pack...we leave tomorrow at dawn" I said
