"What a workout," [Name] stretched, and Tanjiro nodded beside her.
Once again, the two had tried to tag Kanao, this time teaming up and trying to catch her off guard, but nothing worked. The woman was quick and calculated with her movements, not giving them anytime to catch their breath. She also maintained that cute aloof expression the whole time, infuriating [Name] because she was so cute.
"Tanjiro-sama? (L/n)-sama?" A small voice called out to the two, they turned around and saw the caterpillars. They nervously twirled their fingers together. Sumi held out a towel for the two.
"Thank you!" [Name] said, taking it and wiping her face.
"That helps a lot!" Tanjiro grinned.
"Hey, Tanjiro-sama? Do you maintain Total Concentration Breathing all the time?" Naho asked.
"Uh... I've never done that before..." Tanjiro replied, drying his sweaty hair.
"Morning, noon, and night. And all through the night when you're asleep," Kiyo explained, "Do you use the Total Concentration technique nonstop?"
"... No." Tanjiro squeaked, tugging the towel nervously, "Is that even possible?"
"Yes!" Kiyo said, nodding her head, "We're told that being able to do that makes a difference in demon slaying!"
"So... even doing it for a small amount of time takes a toll on me, but I have to to it around the clock?" Tanjiro was shaking now, [Name] was holding him up before he fell.
"(L/n)-sama," Naho said, "We're going to instruct you on Total Concentration Breathing with Tanjiro-sama."
"Eh? Why?" The woman asked.
"It's the quickest way for you to master a Breathing style. By doing this technique, you're readying your body for training!" Sumi smiled.
Tanjiro translated to the best of his ability, and [Name] nodded and grinned. This way, she'd be able to become a demon slayer and make some money, hopefully buying some expensive clothing to accentuate her rich lifestyle, and in doing so she could finally find someone rich to stay with.
"Some people have already mastered it," Naho said.
"All of the Hashira and Kanao-sama!" Sumi added.
"Please work hard at it!" The girls exclaimed, bowing.
"I will!" Tanjiro grinned, "And I'll try to teach [Name] as well!"
