I lay Isla down for a nap and then go to the living room with Jacob. He and her have been getting to know each other and I can already tell she is getting attached.
I tried to keep my distance, but it's so fucking hard when he looks beautiful and is such an amazing dad already. I'm falling in love again. I never fully got over him and it's coming back fast.
Is he going to leave again? I don't think I can go through that heartbreak again. I didn't even think about the possibility of him leaving again. Shitttuh!
"Can I ask you a question?" I blurt out while I pause the movie. He looks towards me and slowly nods, a little unsure as to what I might say. I take a deep breath and say, "Are you going to leave me-, us again?" He looks at me with furrowed eyebrows.
jacob's pov:
"Not if you want me to. I'm not forcing anything on you when I say this: I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I will wait until you're ready, and if you are never ready I WILL FORCE YOU TO LOVE ME!" She giggles and I shake my head. "Naur, I'm kidding. I would do anything to make you happy, and if that means being out you and Isla's, so be it. Just know that I love you both. I don't care how early it is." She bites her lip and I want nothing else but to pull it from her teeth and kiss her.
"I want you in our lives, too. I'm just scared." She says and I can see she means it wholeheartedly. I open my arms and she falls right into them. I kiss her forehead and it seems as though we were made to mold together.
"I know, but I will never leave again." I promise and know that I won't ever break it. I'm too far deep. Mia turns her head to look up at me. I see her eyes flit to my lips and lean in. Our lips meet and it feels like the first time again. I'll never get over this feeling.
