first date (part 1)

y/n pov:

i have been friends with the triplets for years now, i moved to la with them, i have been featured in most of their vids and it's good to say they have become my best friends ever.

except chris

i've had strong feelings for chris ever since i met him. he is such an awesome goofy person and that's what i like most about him.

i have been away on a holiday with my family and i'm coming back to la. i asked my friend to pick me up from the airport but i wasn't expecting this.

as i get out of the gates, i see three boys holding a massive sign

i start walking closer to see what it says and i read

'WELCOME HOME Y/N'

the sign was filled with a bunch of hearts around it, the sign in all caps. i soon realised it was the triplets surprising me

i ran up to them and hugged them all

"oh my god i missed you guys" i say to them as i pull away and hug them one by one

"we missed you too y/n" chris says smiling at me and i smile back

"okay let's go we need to talk more about your trip" nick says linking arms with me while matt and chris grab my bags

we get to the triplets house

i'm sitting on the couch next to nick, matt is sitting on the kitchen table and chris is leaning against the fridge

"and i got to swim with the dolphins so that was pretty amazing!" i say excitedly to nick

"omg thats so cool, i probably would never do that" nick laughs and we all laugh too except chris

chris goes down to his room looking a bit upset and we all notice him go down

"what's wrong with him?" i ask matt and nick

"i dunno, he was fine just an hour ago" matt says coming over to the couch

"i'll go check on him" i say and get off the couch and walk down to chris' room

i get to his door and knock softly,

"chris? are you ok?" i ask and slowly open the door

"i'm fine, just tired" he replies sitting up from his bed

i walk over and sit down next to him

"are you sure?" i say looking at him but he doesn't look back

"mhm" he mumbles

i gently put my hand to his hair and start playing with it

"you can tell me if anything's up you know" i say

chris finally looks at me as i play with his hair

"it's just.. you seem to be really close with nick and i wanted to talk to you too but just nick gets in the way," he says

i'm shocked by this. i don't know where this is all coming from
"well nick just mustve missed me a lot, you could've came and sat next to me too" i let out a smal chuckle to ensure chris that i'm trying not to be harsh

"yeah you're right" he chuckles too
"i don't know why that affected me"

i don't say anything i just smile at him

"do you wanna do something fun tomorrow night" i ask him standing up

chris has a confused look on his face
"like what?" he asks

"maybe a date? just a friend date though, if you want" i get nervous asking him. i hope i don't scare him off

chris pov:

i cant believe the words i'm hearing. y/n wants to go out with me? i thought she was done with relationships after her last boyfriend.

i've liked y/n for such a long time, and i can't believe she's asking ME out, this is so unreal.

i stare at her for a few seconds and stand up

"i'd love to go on a date with you y/n/n" i say smiling at her

y/n pov:

i'm so over the moon chris says he wants to go out with me. butterflies enter my stomach and i smile at chris

"great, i'll pick you up tomorrow at 6" i say to him and walk to his door but he stops me

"what are we doing tomorrow?" he asks

"it'll be a surprise" i turn around and smile at him and leave his room

no one's pov

when y/n leaves chris gets super excited for the date and he starts jumping up and down.

when y/n leaves she shuts chris' door and lays her head on the door smiling because she is so happy she finally had the courage to ask her dream boy out.
