overthink

you tend to overthink a lot even though you love your boyfriend but you couldn't help but think he was cheating.

you had boys play you in the past and you were really worried he was playing you.

so one night while you both were in bed sleeping you slowly grabbed his phone from his bedside table.

you turned over to back your side not making a single sound.

his phone had face recognition and you didn't know the password so you carefully placed the phone in front of his face while he was dead asleep.

"it's your birthday," chris said still keeping his eyes closed and his back still turned. you were super confused by what he said
"the password," he mumbled, "is your birthday,"

you awkwardly lean back and type your birthday in his phone. the password was correct. you checked his messages and recent calls.

of course he wasn't cheating, you were just overthinking

he turned around and opened his eyes,
"you feel better?" chris said.
he didn't yell or feel angry at all because he knew you were an over thinker and understood that.

"yeah," you respond, "i feel better, i'm sorry for thinking you were cheating," you add

he smiled at you

"don't worry about it," he replied

he opened his arms still smiling

"come here," he says. you go over to him and lean on his chest.

you were super grateful to have found someone that would never cheat on you
