As if I would care what happens from here on out.

I released another exasperated sigh and found myself consumed by a whirlwind of thoughts, which only exacerbated my stress levels and offered no relief.

"Have you found your assigned group?" he asked, causing Yang Haeyang to avert their gaze elsewhere in the room.

"I have a suggestion," I spoke up, feeling frustrated by the focus solely on assigned groups. "If you're only going to inquire about my assigned group, may I volunteer to leave the campus?" I suggested, noting that the other student involved in the conversation had expressed a desire to stay.

The teacher was taken aback by my suggestion and promptly declined. "That's not an option for you, Yang Haeyang. You possess an exceptional B-rank edeya, it would be a waste to let go of such potential," the teacher responded with an indescribable tone.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes in response to his words, and a frown formed on my face. "If that's all I'm valued for, then I have no reason to stay," I stated firmly, without a hint of hesitation. With a sour mood, I promptly left the lounge room.

I clenched my teeth and let out a frustrated groan. Is that all Yang Haeyang is truly valued for? No wonder he hates all of the new school systems.

I heard the sound of the door clicking, prompting me to turn around and finally get a closer look at the student. To my surprise, he bore an uncanny resemblance to the character from my favorite novel.

"...Are you alright?" He asked me with genuine concern in his voice, which was a relief considering he seemed unharmed after the event.

I let out a sigh and met his gaze. "I appreciate your concern, but I assure you, I'm fine. There's no need for any pity," I replied.

"I didn't say that because I pity you," he interjected unexpectedly, causing his eyes to widen in surprise at his own words. His unexpected response caught me off guard, and I couldn't help but smirk in response. "Good."

My words clearly took him by surprise, leaving him visibly confused. However, deep down, he seemed grateful that he wasn't subjected to the same treatment as others who would have resorted to physical aggression due to his outspoken nature.

Before heading back to my classroom for the next subject, I made a point to share my name with him. "I'm Yang Haeyang," I said. He seemed momentarily perplexed, but soon realized that I had just given him my name.

Having experienced the earlier event, he had already committed my name to memory. I reassured myself that sharing my name wasn't a big deal. After all, what harm could come from simply sharing a name?

The guy kept muttering the name "Yang Haeyang" to himself, and a smile formed on his face as he finally spoke up, saying, "I'll see you again, Yang Haeyang!" Before he could also walk away and return to his classroom, he also told me his name. "I'm Park Jinsung, I hope to see you around!"

As soon as he mentioned his name, I abruptly stopped and swiftly turned around to face him. My eyes widened in surprise upon hearing his name. It felt like time stopped for me as I was feeling breathless and my mind couldn't think for a moment.

In a moment of realization, I quickly regained my composure and without wasting any time, I sprinted back to my classroom. Breathing heavily, I took my seat, but my mind was flooded with a multitude of newfound problems after hearing that name.

'Park Jinsung...' I couldn't help but notice that his name was the same as the character in the novel. What made it even more eerie was that his appearance matched the description of the character as well. It was an uncanny coincidence that left me feeling unsettled.
