Sarah

As I bid farewell to Jake, I couldn't help but feel a pang of nostalgia at the thought of leaving my childhood friend and brother behind. Despite his teasing nature, I knew that he cared deeply for me, and I was grateful to have him by my side.

"Take care of yourself, Jake. And stop being such a troublemaker," I teased, pulling him into a brotherly hug.

He chuckled in response, his mischievous grin widening. "You too, Sarah. Don't forget to eat and stay out of trouble. And if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to call. You know I've always got your back."

I rolled my eyes at his antics, but deep down, I appreciated his concern. Jake may have a knack for teasing, but when it came down to it, he was always there for me when I needed him most.

Turning to Charlotte, I offered her a warm smile. "Thank you for coming, Charl. It means a lot to me."

She returned the smile, her eyes sparkling with genuine affection. "Of course, Sarah. I'm just glad we were able to reconnect after all these years. Don't be a stranger, okay?"

"I won't, I promise," I replied, feeling a surge of gratitude for the friendship that had endured through the years.

As I bid farewell to Jake and Charlotte at the airport, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness at the thought of leaving them behind.  I wished so much that we all could live together.

I turned around to see Jake waving at me from a distance, his voice carrying over the bustling noise of the airport. His words brought a smile to my face, despite the slight crackle in his voice.

"Call me when you reach home, Sarah."

"I will, Jake! Don't worry," I called back, trying to project my voice over the din of the crowd. "Take care of yourself!"

With a final wave, I turned back towards the gate, feeling a surge of gratitude for my brother's thoughtfulness. Even though he could be a bit of a prankster at times, I knew that his concern for my well-being was genuine.

As I boarded the plane and settled into my seat, I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness at the thought of leaving Jake behind. But I knew that this trip was important for me, a chance to reconnect with my roots and rediscover the place I once called home.

With Jake's words echoing in my mind, I closed my eyes and leaned back in my seat, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation for the adventures that lay ahead. And as the plane taxied down the runway and took off into the sky, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and support of my family, even from thousands of miles away.

As I stepped off the plane and made my way through the bustling airport terminal, I was surprised to see Alex waiting for me, his smile warm and welcoming.

"Hey Sarah!" he called out, waving gently as I approached him.

"Alex! What are you doing here?" I asked, genuinely surprised to see him.
