"So you plan to login?" I ask, not liking this at all.

"Zara..." he drags my name.

"Nickoi," I keep my eyes on him.

"We nah go argue right now okay?" his voice calm.

"You have a page?" My tone harsh.

"Why it's a big deal if mi have gram?" is his question.

"So you do have a page?"

"No," he sighs.

"Here we again with the lies," I look through the window with an eye roll. Not wanting to argue, I decide to rest the argument.

I feel his hand gripping my thighs. That's his way to get my attention. He's successful when I turn to face him.

"What?"

"I didn't lie to you," he starts. "Mi just never tell you sup'm...but mi a try work on everything....mi a try and tell yuh."

"Okay," I nod. "So you wanna still talk now seeing that we reach?"

He turns in and park, his eyes on the reverse camera as he does a perpendicular backwards park. I don't know how to do that. Parking is my weakness in driving.

Especially when I'm reversing.

"Tell her yuh reach," he looks up at me. I unclip my seatbelt.

"Okay," I pick up my phone and call Candy's number.

"Hey baby?" she answers.

"Good morning, I'm outside," I say with a sweet voice.

"Okay baby girl," she retorts.

I hang up and see him just searching for a song to play. I watch him silently. The song comes on, Fridayy's When it comes to you.

"Been a meds this lately," he tells me. I go silent, just listening.

Why this a get me emotional?

We stare at each other. He's in deep thoughts. I can say the same for myself. This song was written for us, especially him.

Love nice eno..

"Love at first sight?" I say to lighten the mood.

He doesn't say anything. He's transported to another dimension.

"Can you stop beating up yourself?" I know him too well.

"Mi nah beat up miself," he shakes his head.

"So wah you a do then?"

"It's just that..." he grabs his phone from the arm rest. "Mi a' add this to we playlist."

"It's you..." I say softly. "The song."

"Yeah that mi a say, it's like me been a try express how mi truly feel, mi try yes but all a the things me been a grapple fi say the dawg just say it all fi me inna one song," he explains.
