They put me in cage
Cage of their expectations
Putting the lock on it
Throwing away the key
I've grown far too big wings
Too big for this cage
Too big for them
Too big for me
Those wings were supposed to help me fly
Yet now they hurt
Because they can't fit
They don't fit inside the cage
Am I supposed to cut them?
Or will they shrink back
Will i ever spread them again?
Or will they bleed if I do
How can I free myself
When my heart is in chains
How can I fly
When i never learnt how to?
