"Good. Now, answer me. Do you fucking know what you're doing and saying? Are you really a president?" When the president didn't reply, Yunjin clicked her tongue.
"Ever since I joined, I have heard nothing but hurtful words from you. No constructive criticism, no good feedback- just pure negativity. Are you fucking insane? Is this what the old president taught you? Is this what you picked up from their leadership?"
Everyone was just silent.
They were no longer scared of the president. In fact, they were more scared of Yunjin.
This was the first time they had ever seen her this mad. She has always been all smiles, always laughing, and always joking around with everyone.
But right now, she looked nothing but.
It was obvious that she was pissed off. Her brows were slightly furrowed, her actions were more sharp, and her words were confrontational.
"Why are you out here putting your members down? Aren't you a leader because you're expected to guide them? Because you're good enough to know what to do and what not to do, but it seems like you don't know any better."
The president still had her mouth closed tightly. Like she didn't know what to say.
Obviously, she didn't expect anyone to question her actions. She didn't expect anyone to confront her about her way of leading.
No one has ever stood up to argue with her before.
Only Huh Yunjin was brave enough to do it.
"Look at you, you look fucking stupid. Are you even listening!?" Yunjin's voice rises. She was becoming more and more pissed and impatient by the second.
"I'm listening..."
"Then fucking respond!" Yunjin shouts, and everyone flinches.
Everyone was in utter shock while Chaewon and her friends watched in awe. This was the first time they had ever seen someone like Yunjin show how much authority she had over someone who was a quote-on-quote "leader."
Yunjin acted more like a leader than their president.
And it was showing.
"You're going on and on about the industry. How we'll never make it there, how we lack a lot of things. Well, guess what? Theater has been a part of my life ever since I was a kid, and you," she points at the president, "Obviously know nothing about the industry. I'm a part of it, and I bet you never were."
Yunjin's weapons were her words, and even if she wasn't using hurtful words aside from cursing, her words were more powerful and impactful than what the president said to everyone.
Yunjin's insults are more insulting without even trying.
"You're not fit to be a leader. You don't even know anything about leading." Yunjin then turned and walked up the stage to check up on Chaewon.
All the hatred and the anger in her eyes disappeared. Her eyes softened, and she was back to being the happy and enthusiastic Huh Yunjin.
It amazed them how quickly she could turn into an intimidating person and then go back to being the gentlest giant ever.
"Is she okay?" She asks Minju. Yunjin was no longer pissed off; in fact, she looked calm and gentle, as if nothing had happened.
Minju nodded, and Chaewon was in awe.
"That's good, but take her to the nurse's office. She's tired, she needs to rest."
Sunghoon and the others didn't need to be told twice before they all helped Chaewon up. They all rushed outside of the auditorium, and they tried moving as fast as they could.
