The judge said to all of us.

➤ Everyone clapped in the courtroom then Anton stood up.

"Your honor! Can I say something?"
Anton asked the judge.

"What is it, young man?"
The judge asked Anton.

"I would like to be adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Lee."
Anton said to the judge.

"Anton! What are you doing?!"
Mom asked Anton angrily.

"Where is this coming from?"
The judge asked Anton.

"My brother and I haven't been together during our childhood a lot because my parents wouldn't allow me to see him daily."
Anton said to the judge.

"That's sad to hear but that's not a good reason."
The judge said to Anton.

"Your honor!"
Jueun said to the judge.

"Yes?"
The judge asked Jueun.

"We will adopt Anton as well-"
Jueun said to the judge but my mom cut her off.

"We will not let you take our son away from us!"
My mom yelled at Jueun.

"But it's obvious that your son doesn't want to be with you."
Jueun said to my mom.

"You don't know anything!"
My dad yelled at Jueun.

"I'm a therapist, I can tell how someone feels."
Jueun said to my dad.

"Quiet in the courtroom!"
The judge yelled while banging his gavel.

"Everyone have a seat!"
The judge yelled at everyone.

"What's this topic coming from?"
The judge asked all of us.

"I don't know, your honor, my son doesn't know what he's talking about-"
My mom said to the judge but Anton cut her off.

"I know exactly what I'm talking about! I don't want to be with you and dad!"
Anton yelled at mom.

"Anton, please come up here so I can ask you a few questions."
The judge said to Anton.

➤ Anton nodded and went to the front.

[ TIME SKIPS ]

➤ Anton answered the judge's questions honestly.

"I understand how you feel, but your answers aren't acceptable for the adoption."
The judge said to Anton.

"But can I just stay away from my parents?"
Anton asked the judge.

"I'm sorry son, but you can't. You are still a minor and you need parental care."
