Okay so after that high-voltage drama of the year, I went home. Not to the apartment but with dad and locked myself in.

It was Sunday today, so nobody bothered me for work but they did bother me for eating and I ignored them and preferred sleeping.

Because of this, my brothers stayed home to coax me out of my lair. This happened every year without a miss. Alvin and I always ended up fighting over a small thing. This only happened once in a year and when it happened things were always difficult for both the families.

I would stop eating and Alvin did the opposite. He ate more than he usually did because we wouldn't be talking and that was his way of controlling himself from calling a truce or reaching out to me first. Also, he snapped easily at that time.

And he also turned into a grizzly bear.

"Princess, please come out. It's been a day already and today is Monday! You haven't eaten anything. You are going to get sick." My dad pleaded from outside my door.

I didn't want to trouble my dad but I didn't have the energy to get up now, nor did I feel like eating anything.

"Go away Dad!" my muffled voice came out from my blanket. I was all wrapped up and cozily sleeping.

"Just come out or I'll tell you brothers to break the door down," he warned but I knew he would wait for some more time before actually doing it.

"I am not opening! if you don't leave me be then I'll go to my apartment." I blackmailed instead.

"I knew I shouldn't have agreed to her having her place," he mutters to himself in regret.

"She won't leave Dad," my smart brother consoled Dad

"but she hasn't eaten anything- "

"We'll take care of it Dad, don't fret. " and they went away or my brothers dragged Dad away. Anything was possible.

2 hours later.....

"She still hasn't come out?" This was Lilly. She had gone home on Sunday night because just like others she had work to go to. Not like me, missing out on work without notice.

"No," my brothers answered.

"Did she eat anything?" She inquired.

"No."

"How long did she last the last time?"

"46 hours."

What are they doing? Playing quiz?

"It's past that already! We have to do something! Is she still breathing in there?"

"Yes she is, we checked and we called for reinforcement," they informed at the same time like they were reporting to their commanding officer.

"You did?" she asked suspiciously.

"Yes," they repeated at the same time again.

"Alvin?" she confirmed her suspicion.

"Obviously," they said in a duh tone and then everything went silent. A pin-drop silence. I had to strain my ears to listen for any sound.

"Guys, I don't understand why these two boneheads are mad at each other when they finally managed to confess, even though their words were twisted, but still," Ricardo spoke after a minute of silence.

"Because they are crazy!" Lilly spoke.

"Yes, Crazy in luveeee," You should guess who this childish person was.

"Eww, don't say such things, Richy. She is our sister. It's just cringy and I already have goosebumps. Look!" Ricardo scolded his twin. I could imagine him shuddering.
