I go back into the car and ask the driver to drop me off at the store and leave. I'll walk home.
I step inside the store looking tired but my hair and makeup still being on point.
I look around and see no sign of shift boy anywhere.
„looking for me?" He says emerging from out of nowhere startling me and making me slightly jump.
"I need chicken flavoured ramen asap" I say sitting down on one of the window stalls
"You must be annoyed from something." He says
"I eat chicken flavour when I'm tired or stressed or annoyed." He explains
"I'm all three right now" I say as he gives the the cup with hot water in it for me to mix
"Although I am just a store boy, you can always talk to me" he says encouraging me to let out my feelings
1 hour later Timeskip
"And then he sets me up on a planned date with the same mf from this morning" I say munching on some spicy teokbeokki as I finish the last one
"No way..." he says, his hands slamming against the counter "that's outrageous. you should have told your dad" he says in a tone of surprise
"Regardless, that would have done more bad than good, trust me."
I check the time „11:56„
"I have to get going" I say while finally noticing all the packs of finished ramen,chips,teokbokki, coffee and Oreo's
"How much?" I say pulling out my card
"It's okay. You deserve all that food as compensation to the emotional distress" he says in an understanding tone
"Your shift ended like 20 minutes ago." I said looking up at him
"That 20 minutes was worth the gossip trust me on that" he says smiling at me
I take my purse out of the chair, setting off to go.
"Hong Kong vogue December 2023,page 13, top 5 rich teen models, Mo ji-a in 1st place" he said to me before I left
I stopped and turned around to look at him
"That's where I saw you" he said smiling at me.
"You sure do know your facts park sunghoon. I promise you we will be meeting again."
I said leaving the store in style
"How did you know my- name." He said the last bit as I left the store and disappeared into the darkness
