alison pov

i was watching them shoot the movie.

they're shooting the scene where they show the first romantic scene emily and i have together.

it's a flashback to when em and i were in the library.

nina walked in and saw candice laughing at great expectations.

"what's so funny?"

candice smiled, "their names. pip, mr. wopsle, uncle pumblechook. they all sound like stuffed animals."

nina sat down, "i can't believe you finished it already."

"want me to tell you what happens? i can make you a cheat sheet." she teased and smirked.

"you should really let me braid your hair sometime." candice said and played with nina's hair that was in a pony tail, just like how emily used to wear it.

mackenzie was standing next to me, "did this really happen?" she asked.

"yeah sure. i remember it like it was yesterday. this was the day i realized i was in love with your mother." i said and smiled.

i glanced at emily sitting, watching with spencer and hanna.

she glanced over at me and smiled.

i looked back at nina and candice.

"that's why i love you. you're big on happy endings." i said as candice said it as well.

i was staring at emily the whole time who was smiling back at me.

she laughed at something justin said and nodded.

i smiled and looked back at the scene they were shooting.

she looked down at the book, then back at nina, "so is dickens by the way...can i read you something?"

"can i read you something?"

nina nodded shyly.

i smiled and said as they spoke, "i loved her against reason, against promise, against peace, against hope, against happiness, against all discouragement that could be."

a happy tear rolled down my cheek as i remembered that day.

mackenzie smiled as candice and nina kissed.

"is that really what happened?"

"every second of it." i replied, dazed in emily's eyes as she looked at me and winked.

i smiled and blew her a kiss and mouthed, "i love you."

she smiled and pretended to catch the kiss and put it to her heart and fluttered her eyes dramatically.

i laughed and rolled my eyes, "dork." i mouthed.

she shook her head and pointed to herself, then to me, mouthing, "i am your dork. i love you too"

i smiled and rolled my eyes and looked back at the set.

"alright. nina, candice, take 5. let's head to the scene with noel and aria in the private music room." the director said.

i was sitting at home when justin came through the door.

"hey how is the movie coming along?" i said as he kissed me hello.

"great. i love playing toby. he's dynamic. how are my two favorite people?" he asked and kissed my 8 week pregnant stomach.
