  "Things aren't looking all too great for us right now." Lumine sighed and crossed her arms as she looked over her makeshift table and the map that Amber put together. It was pretty accurate too, with indications for elevation changes as well. "The Tau and Fatui Nations are seriously at each other's throats right now." She couldn't help but sound worried, even if she wanted to put on a strong face.

This caused Jean to step forward and cross her arms, immediately taking the room into her hands. Everyone held their eyes on her. "Lumine is right Unfortunately—The Tau and Fatui are on route to do some serious harm to one another, and in the end, cause Teyvat massive problems with their debacle."

"Can't we just send Lumine and Y/n to beat them into submission? That plan usually works pretty well." Amber sighed and shook her head. "Those two are capable of making something work."

Y/n couldn't help but laugh at this remark. He was sitting at the round table with his arms crossed and his armor off. "As much as that sounds fun, I'm trying to become the representative of Tau, not their main enemy." He explained to the young adventurer.

"W-What!? Y/n is going to become the Head of the Tau nation!?" Lady Kaeya stepped into the room with a concerned look on her face, her good eye moving over to them. "You can't have him! He's my favorite Knight!" She cried out.

"Would you please, he's not even your main Knight, he's technically under command by Lady Diluc, and she's not even here." Jean put her hand on her hip, judging the other woman with her eyes. "Please let go of him..."

Kaeya sadly let go of the man and wiped a single tear off her cheek. "Okay, fair play." She sighed and gently patted the man on the back. "I shall miss our crash adventures in Mondstadt together, old friend."

"I'm not dying, Kaeya..." Y/n sighed and smiled at the slightly shorter woman, feeling a sense of humor wash over him. It felt nice to be back in Mondstadt with equally funny faces. "Just a temporary thing to get all the nations under law together again."

Y/n missed being a resident of Mondstadt, but that wasn't to say he didn't enjoy his time at Liyue, quite the opposite. It would seem he needed the temporary leave away from Lady Zhongli since he was proving to be too much of a distraction for the Geo Archon.

He was quite literally told off by Zhongli's servants since she didn't want to do anything but hang out with Y/n from the day he arrived. The time away from each other would ultimately be good for them, even if they didn't necessarily agree with doing so.

"Right, now let's get back to the main subject at hand." Jean sighed and crossed her arms, watching Kaeya take a seat in the back of the room. "We're going to send Y/n to Inazuma to try and work up a deal with the Lightning Archon for some support to calm down the frustrations between Fatui and Tau."

Y/n immediately froze up and turned to Jean. "A-Again!? I just got back!" He argued this point, clearly not wanting to get out and run some more chores again. "Can't you send Lumine or Amber on this one!?"

Jean was a little surprised by the man's hesitation to go on the mission, but pressed her side of the situation further. "No, we can't. Lumine and Amber cannot go in your place, because we're trying to make you the representative for the Tau. This is the first step to do that." She crossed her arms and stared at the man. "Why are you so reluctant to go?"

"Maybe because I just got back from being gone for like three weeks! I'm supposed to be a retired Monster Hunter, yet the Knights of Favonius like to make me do the most shit around here." Y/n sighed and leaned back into his chair, clearly upset. "Worst retirement plan of my damn career..."
