Chapter 29

Rosabella's Pov

I woke up with a splitting headache and my whole body was in utmost pain

It seems like no matter what l do l can't seem to catch a break

No matter how many times l try to finally find peace l somehow get pulled back to this horrible life

"You're finally awake"

And just when l thought my life couldn't get worse

I couldn't help but laugh at the irony in my life

"Is something wrong" he said and l laughed harder even though am in pain

"Rosabella you have to relax you're putting yourself in more pain" he said and l couldn't help but scoff

"What the hell is wrong with you huh how could you try to kill yourself" if it weren't for my selective mutism would have gave him in hopes that he finally beats me to death

"I know you hate me Rosabella but am here to get you back to your father" he said and l had it been anyone else l would have been happy but Ronan Rossi tortured me for years and there's no way he'll ever do something nice for me

I glanced around the place l was at and it looked like a nice room but Ronan Rossi is unpredictable and there's no way l believe that he suddenly cares for

How did he even find me?

"I can see the wheels spinning in your head and l'll explain everything to you but for now you need some food, your meds and some rest" he said and l didn't react

Mr Rossi Aka my adoptive or foster father or whatever you like to call him has found me and for some crazy reason he is overly nice to me

I tried to kill myself but of course luck wasn't on my side and of all people Mr Rossi was the person to find me

I spent the whole sleeping and trying to find a possible reason as to why my "father" was being nice to me but l couldn't find an answer

I was busy lost in my thoughts when Mr Rossi entered the room carrying a plate of food and l deliberately ignored him while he spoke to me

"I know you hate me Rosabella and you have every right to but please just give me a chance to make amends" he said seemingly frustrated of my silence so l decided to put him out of his misery

I gestured to a pen and a paper and he immediately brought it and l wrote

"What do you want"

"Is something wrong with your voice "he said and his face softened but l won't let his kindness melt me because l know him better than that

"I regret what l did to you Rosabella, l see it everyway and the memories just won't stop and all l want is to make amends

When l heard that you left with your mother and your father was looking for you l've been trying to find you so that l can bring you back home

You don't deserve everything everything that happened to you Rosabella and l promise l'll give you your life back " he said and tears slid from my eyes
