Chapter 20

Rosabella's Pov

Today my brothers have been acting really strange and to top it all Leone and Leonardo came here last night when we had already gone to bed

"Dad is everything okay with my brothers" l asked as dad and l were eating breakfast alone because Alex had gone to school and the others were doing their work

"I wish everyone was as precious as you are my angelito "dad said and flicked my nose and l whined

"You're avoiding my question daddy"

"Your brothers are finally seeing the reality not what they've been blinded to see"

"Wasn't there a less sophisticated answer to my question because you've kind of left me more confused than l was" l said

"Forget all that princess ,what do you think about starting school next" dad said and l stood up to give him a hug and also a lot of kisses

"I can "l asked excitedly

"Yes you can princess"

"You're probably the first person l've met whose excited about going to school" dad said and flicked my nose and l laughed

I spent the whole day feeling happy and energised and later at dinner my brothers made fun of my excitement about going to school and they teased me a lot and even though l pretended to be mad at them l felt pretty happy

I knocked on Elonzo's door and when l didn't get an answer l let myself in because l noticed that he was down the whole day and l wanted to cheer my brother up

Elonzo was in his sleeping in his bed with papers and his laptop all over him my poor brother was probably exhausted, l took his laptop and all the papers and organised them on his nightstand then tucked him in nicely

I decided to cuddle with my older brother so that he could feel better since l read somewhere that cuddles can make someone feel refreshed and have a goodnights rest

I woke up feeling hot and trapped so l tried to wiggle myself out of my brothers arms because he was squeezing me to death

"Stop l want to sleep" l heard him mumble so l laid back in his arms so that he can sleep some more

Elonzo slept for a few more hours but l couldn't sleep as it was already morning and l was uncomfortable

"Shit little one why are you sweating" he said as soon as he noticed me

"You were squeezing me tightly" l said shyly

"Why didn't you say something then bambina" he said as he untangled me from his arms

"Because you looked tired and l wanted you to get well rested" l said

"You are so adorable baby and l love that you always think about others well being but l want you to always put yourself first because you are the most important person in our life " he said and l felt butterflies flutter in my tummy because no one has ever put me first and loved me

"I love you big brother"

"I love you more la mia bambina"
