Dokyeom was too tired and it was midnight when he reached the house
He locked the door then he checked on his granny who was soundly sleeping
Then he went upstairs and opened her room
She was sleeping hugging a pillow
He smiled and entered the room
He stood there carefully admiring her features
He gave a gentle peck on her forehead
His smile died when he remembered something
'She is engaged'
He sighed and went to his room and slept
Next day she rushed downstairs and found him silently having his breakfast
Yn:"Yaah DK where were you? And why didn't you wake me up?"
Dokyeom:"Why should I wake you up"
He said bluntly
Yn felt a pang in her heart but she ignored it and sat next to him and started to have her breakfast
He was quite
He didn't even spoke a word with her or nor smile at her
'Is he upset about me being engaged? Does that means even he has feelings on me'
A small smile formed on her lips as she squealed
Dokyeom flinched by her suddenly squeal and stared at her with his eyebrows raised
She just got off from her seat and pecked his cheeks and ran away from there
Dokyeom was dumbfounded but still a small smile started forming in his lips
'Silly girl'
He said to himself and continued his breakfast
Dokyeom had exited the gate and headed towards the market to get some groceries
He felt someone walking next to him
He asked without looking at the person
Dokyeom:"Why are you here?"
Yn:"Just to give you company"
Dokyeom:"I don't need a company"
Yn:"Yaah Ajjushi don't be stubborn. Your lucky that I am giving you a company"
He kept quite as they reached the grocery store
He took the essential items as Yn trailed behind his back like a lost puppy
He just chuckled while watching her following him
He then payed for the items and started making his way towards his home
Yn suddenly stood in front of him and made him stop walking
Yn:"Why are you not talking to me?"
Dokyeom:"I am talking"
Yn:"Please Dk don't ignore me. Are you sad that I am engaged?"
Dk kept quite as Yn got to know about his sadness
Yn:"I won't marry him. I'll stay here with you and granny-"
Dokyeom:"You can't runaway everytime. It will keep chasing you until you stop it"
Yn kept quite and she knew he was right
Yn:"But i do-dont know him"
Dokyeom:"Get to know him and marry him"
Yn felt her whole world crashed by his words
Yn:"D-dk i l-love you"
Dokyeom scoffed hearing her
Dokyeom:"Even if l like you, me and you are no match. Your daughter of a rich person while I'm a farmer and have a simple life with my granny. So just move on"
Yn:"I tr-truly love you Do-dokyeom"
She confessed as tears were flowing from her eyes
Dokyeom:"You don't even know the meaning of love, how can you confess me"
She felt as if a thunder bolt hit her
Dokyeom:"Let's go"
He held her hands while his other hand had a bag which had grocery leading her home
