The depth of misery

In the depths of sorrow, the heart does ache,
A symphony of misery, a soul's forsaken wake.
Tears like raindrops, falling from the sky,
Shattered dreams, a mournful lullaby.

A love once cherished, now turned to dust,
In the ruins of emotions, faith is but a must.
Echoes of laughter haunt the empty halls,
As heartache's cruel grip upon the spirit falls.

The weight of sorrow, a burden hard to bear,
In the lonely night, it lingers, a silent despair.
Yet through the pain, a flicker of hope may rise,
And from heartache's ashes, a new strength belies.

For in the depths of misery, a heart may find its voice,
A resilient melody, a reason to rejoice.
Though scars may linger, and memories persist,
From heartache's grasp, the spirit will resist.
