There was a knock on my door later that evening, and I bit back a small groan of annoyance because I had been asleep and was stirred awake because of it.

"Go away," I mumbled, barely audible and twisted around to face the other away while I pulled my blankets over my head. "Leave me alone."

Again, there was a knock on my door, stirring me more awake, and I let out another annoyed groan but didn't get out from underneath my covers.

Who the hell is trying to wake me up? I thought and buried myself further into my covers while I stuck my pillow over my head to drown out any other noise. Why can't they just leave me alone and let me die?

There was another knock on my door, but it was muffled because of my pillow and the closed door. "Room service," I heard Apollo said, trying but failing to sound like a girl, his voice cracking at his high pitched tone. "I have an order of food for a... Dysis Estrella."

Oh...

I opened an eye and turned toward the door, too comfortable to leave the bed and not move the pillow from my head. "I'm sleeping, Apollo," I said, and he bit back an amused snort. "Why did you have to wake me up?"

"Because I have food for you," he said, letting his voice become normal. There was a small bit of worry in his voice that I could hear because it wasn't normal to be asleep at this time of day, and I pressed my lips into a thin line. "Do you want to eat dinner in bed?"

I bit back a small sigh, took off my blankets and removed the pillow from my head before I sat up, fully awake, now. "No, no, it's ok," I said and moved a hand through my hair before I cleared my throat and shifted in my seat. "I'm going to come out."

"Are you sure?" he asked. "Do you mind if I open the door?"

"You may," I said and stood before I started to walk to the door, folding my arms across my chest. "I'm decent if that is what you are wondering."

Apollo bit back a chuckle and opened the door, holding the bag of food. He studied me and smiled, but that didn't seem to hide the worry he felt, and I offered him a tired smile back, not able to hide it. "How are you feeling?" he asked and raised an eyebrow in question. "Are you ok?"

I shrugged and grimaced, clearing my throat. "I've been better," I admitted before I cleared my throat again and moved a hand across my arm. "How about you?" I asked, changing the subject, silently praying that he would let me get away with that question. "How are you feeling?"

Apollo sighed and shook his head before he dropped the smile and frowned. "What do you mean that you've been better?" he asked and narrowed his eyes, silently telling me that he wasn't going to let it go. "What happened? Are you ok?"

I cleared my throat again and shifted on my feet before I looked down, not able to meet his gaze any longer. "Can we go sit and eat?" I asked softly, my voice barely above a whisper. I cleared my throat again and licked my lips. "Please?"

"Dy-" Apollo stopped trying to say something before he sighed and nodded. "Ok," he said and moved out of my way so that I could walk past him. "Let's go ahead and eat." He paused and cleared his throat, raising an eyebrow. "Can you tell me what's wrong when we get to the table, please? I'm worried about you."

I hesitated but nodded while I walked past him, grateful that I had decided to wear pajama shorts and not anything besides underwear while I had taken my nap. I wasn't worried about a shirt because I normally wore one to bed. "Ok," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. I cleared my throat and looked at him from the corner of my eye, raising an eyebrow slightly. "Where are we eating tonight?"
