"Hello..."she heard a female sound.
"Yaaru??"mullai asked.
"Kathir mama illaya??"she replied.
Mama ah ...her eyes rolled in irritation "illa Avan bathroom la irukan .."
"Oh... daily I use to call at this time..Vanda odaney call panna sollunga.."mullai said okay for it. Before hanging up,the girl asked"aama nenga yaaru?"
"Avanoda pondati.."she cut the call in frustration,took the papers and left the place.

Next day morning mullai was sleeping as her night sleep was disturbed badly by her periods cramps.Thamarai knew this so she preferred not to disturb her and got ready for her school.
While she was packing her handbag she noticed a shadow at the door entrance. The door was ajar as it was time for her to leave. She lifted her head and noticed kathir standing there hesitantly.
She smiled moving to the door,welcoming him inside"ulla va kathir..."and he followed her inside quietly. Thamarai knew very well for his arrival at the morning hours itself.
They had a normal routine talks for the day. It was time for thamarai to leave for her work,so she stood up "school ku time achu..."she dragged the statement.
Kathir stood up and helped her carrying the bags. When she was moving out ,kathir actually opened up for his visit"mulla.. enga???"
"Thongara kathir... monthly cycle.. first day.. it's horrible for her..unnaku theriyum nenaikaren..."to which kathir just nodded his head.
Before getting into the auto she has booked, thamarai advised"I know kathir.. what happened yesterday... unnoda kovam correct dhan...but avala yosichu paaru... relationship la kovam varudhu should help both of you to grow not to get hurt...puriyum nenaikaren... take care..."
Kathir shut his eyes.. periods ah.... adhan nethu avalo mood swings...cha..idhu theriyama....naa vera kovam ah pesinen...ellam enna sollanum...he climbed back to her apartment.
Closing the door behind, he went to mullai's bedroom. Sneaking in silently,he went to that side of her bed to have a glance of her. There she was sleeping with her hands engulfing the soft brown pillow.
He arranged the things that was messed up and went to kitchen to make tea for him. He prepared hot water bag and her favourite pasta as breakfast. He went to store- bought chocolates, flowers and a small card.
He placed all these on the nearby table of the bed and sat on the chair facing mullai , waiting for her to wake up. After few minutes,mullai stirred up from her sleep.
Streching her hands ,she rubbed her eyes and made a silent prayer to God. She looked at the table for her phone and noticed the chocolates, flowers and the card. She glanced at the card and it was written only with two words "sorry ma"
She was puzzled at the card and turned only to find kathir sitting on the chair. At first she was happy seeing him so she smiled at him. But in few seconds she remembered what happened yesterday and her smile disappeared. Her mind now understood the reason for chocolates,flowers and the card.
Kathir stood and went to her "impress panna naa idhu ellam pannala mulla...oru chocolate vechu I can't convince you...unnaku pudikum vanginen...nethu naa .."he was stopped by mullai "adha paati pesa venam..."
"Illa ..naa solradhu.."he tried to start again only to hear her speak "pls kathir...naa romba kozhambi poriken...ippo idhu vendam...naa edhuvum nenaikala ...naa feel pannen nee feel panna vendam..."
