The Unity of Spellbound Threads

When I wake up I'm in a sitting/laying position against the house. I stand up and move inside to see what's going on.

Once inside I see Dave comes out of the kitchen holding about 3 large platters filled with food. Filled with bacon, sausage, eggs, and toast with strawberry and grape jam. He puts some on each plate then walks back into the kitchen.

When he walks back he has 3 pitchers and puts them onto the table. They are filled with tea, coffee, and orange juice.

"Breakfast is served!" He calls out loudly.

Suddenly Andy and Daleyza come out from the living room. I don't know how I didn't see them when I walked in. They all sit down as Dave pours coffee in his cup, tea in Daleyza's cup and orange juice in Andy's.

After pouering the drinks Andy said "Thank you."

"No problem, I just hope you aren't allergic to anything." Dave said smiling.

"Nope, nothing at all." Andy replies smiling.

"Alright let's eat!" Daleyza cheered.

As I watch them eat I long to be next to Andy. I miss my best friend. I miss hugging him. I miss laughing with him.

I should have told him a long time ago when I had the chance about his past, and how it ties into the future. I should have told him about the Unity, and about who he is. I can't believe that I fell for it's whispers. Going back in time just made things worse. All I can do is hope that Dave and Daleyza can do a better job protecting him than I did.

Soon they finish breakfast and Dave washes the dishes like always. Daleyza got out the picnic basket and placed it on the table.

"Alrighty, let's start to make the sandwiches. What kind do you want Andy, Daleyza?" Dave asked after putting the dishes away to dry and getting down the bread.

"We can make Roast beef baguettes, Cucumber sandwiches, Cuban sandwiches, Muffuletta sandwiches, Turkey sandwiches, Chicken salad sandwiches, and Ham sandwiches. Feel free to pick two."

"I'll take a cucumber sandwich and a muffuletta sandwich." Daleyza asked.

"Can I have a chicken salad sandwich and a cuban sandwich" Andy said softly.

"And I'll take two roast beef baguettes. I'll pack two turkey and two ham sandwiches for extra." Dave says smiling.

"Let's get cooking!" Dave cheered as he got down a whole lot of stuff. A lot of cheese, a lot of meat, condiments, chicken salad, peppers and onions, lettuce and pickles and cucumber. He also got a jar of cucumber spread.

They formed an assembly line and started to make all the sandwiches.

"We have everything, so let's head out, I have the perfect idea for where to go." Daleyza says moving to pick up the basket.

"Here let me get that, Daleyza." Dave says picking it up before she can get a hand on it.

"Oh thank you. Now let's head out!"

The group started out with Daleyza leading the way and Dave in the back. After a while of walking (about 25 minutes worth) they came to a halt and Daleyza turned to face Andy and Dave and then turned back around and continued walking.

"Ok where coming up to where the spot is. It's a field of grass and flowers. It's really soft." Daleyza says walking up towards a clearing.

"I'm excited to eat I'm starving." Dave said rubbing his stomach jokingly.

Daleyza stops walking and whips around a finger to her lips. Dave and Andy go silent and creep up behind her to see two girls laying in the field. Daleyza, Andy and Dave clearly wanted to listen in. I did want to hear what they were saying to but instead of staying there I walked out of the bushes to get closer to them.

"Why did we even start laughing? What were we laughing at?"
"I have no clue. But I'm glad we did."
"Why?"
"I don't know. Maybe because we had a bad night last night and we needed this."
"Yeah probably. Will h- it ever stop chasing you?"
"No, 'It' wants me dead. I doubt it'll stop."
"Then we will be on the run forever." 

"You don't happen to be talking about 'The Darkness' are you?" Daleyza says how had stepped out from behind the bushes.

The girls heads whip around and they scramble to their feet and the purple haired girl starts to run up the hill the other quickly following behind her.

"Girls we aren't going to hurt you! We just want to know what you were talking about!" Dave yells.

The girls don't look back and reach the top of the hill and disappear. Andy starts to run after them followed by Daleyza, and Dave struggling to keep up with the weight of the basket. I just floated up fast.

The purple haired girl pulls the brown hair girl up a tree and they hide within branches.

"Hey! We wouldn't hurt you. We just want to know if you're ok. 'It' isn't really nice to anyone. I know this because 'It' hurt me pretty bad." Andy says. If you didn't know that there were girls in the tree you would think he's crazy.

The girls start whispering and after a few seconds the brown hair girl starts to climb down. The purple haired girl quickly follows.

"My name is Lila this is Lilith, and the bird is Sperantia. Yes we were talking about 'The Darkness' it destroyed my inn, and attacked me." The brown haired girl says hesitantly.

No- no it can't be. Its to soon. The Unity isn't ready yet. Not now, not yet. That can't be Lilith. He can't know about Lilith yet.

"It was after me."  Lilith says sadly.

Dave comes up behind Daleyza and Andy panting.

"Dave we have extra sandwiches right?" Daleyza questioned.

"Ye--Yep I made two extra ham and two extra turkey." He says out of breath.

"Alright ladies how about we have some lunch and talk about what happened to you. Then we tell you why we asked. Does that sound alright?" Daleyza asked.

"That's fine with us. Thank you." Lilith says.

"Ok, Andy would you help me set out the blanket, and food." Dave asked putting the basket down.

As they set out the food I stare down Lilith and Lila. They look harmless but so does Andy. You can't trust anything by looks anymore.

Dave motions over for the girls to sit down on the blanket with them. They comply and sit down.

"Do you ladies have any allergies?" Daleyza queried.

"I don't" Lila replied.

"Neither do I." Lilith added 

"Ok let's eat! I'm starving!" Dave said biting into his sandwich.

Daleyza laughed at this and they all started to eat like one big happy family.

Alrighty I know it's going slow but I haven't even started planning out the climax, or rising action,  or the resolution, or the falling action.
