CHAPTER 20

Me: Cleveland my radars detect a fleet 50 km away.

Cleveland: I understand thank you for the support.

After sailing for a while the Cleveland fleet approaches the location of the enemy fleet. The first thing they saw were mass-produced Siren cruisers.

Cleveland: (Preparing to attack) Siren?

Enterprise: Wait look closely, the enemies have already been defeated.

Cleveland: I don't see any lights on the enemy ships.

Hamman: Are the ships that sent the SOS fighting with the sirens? Or were they the same sirens?

After sailing for a few minutes they manage to locate the Chinese cruise ship that sent the SOS.

Belfast: There is no doubt it is a Ning Hai-class cruiser.

The girls approached and Enterprise boarded the ship while Belfast and Hamman stayed below to keep watch on the surroundings.

Enterprise walks along the deck of the Chinese cruiser and encounters the twins Ning Hai and Ping Hai. Ping Hai notices Enterprise's presence and gives her a hostile look. Upon closer inspection Enterprise realizes that Ning Hai is severely injured and unconscious.

Enterprise: (Friendly voice) Don't worry I'm USS Enterprise I belong to Azur Lane we tracked your SOS signal.

At that moment Ping Hai relaxes and starts crying because her sister doesn't react.

Enterprise: Have they defeated the sirens? Tell me everything that has happened while I heal your sister.

Without anyone knowing one of the enemy cruiser's cannons starts to move. Meanwhile Ping Hai tells Enterprise everything that happened while she heals Ning Hai's wounds.

PN: We were being chased by the sirens... we won the battle but a siren ship made a suicide attack and my sister protected me...

At that moment Ning Hai starts to react and wake up.

PH: Sister! Don't worry help has arrived!

NH: (Weak voice) Little sister... Are you okay?

PH: Yes I'm fine.

NH: (sigh) Thank goodness I'm glad to hear that.

At that moment Ning Hai starts to moan in a lot of pain from the injuries suffered.

Enterprise: Don't worry once we finish this we can leave here.

PLONG!

In that moment a scarlet glow alarms everyone making them all realize that an enemy ship is still operational.

PH: (shock) Can that still operate?

NH: Run away!

PH: I won't do it, this time I will protect you!

Belfast realizing it shoots at the enemy. The projectiles hit the enemy ship damaging it considerably. To finish it off Hamman torpedoes the enemy ship destroying it without any problems. The threat was over.

In that moment they see that a torpedo is heading towards the Chinese cruiser.

Hamman: Torpedo detected! Starboard heading 5-6-4!

Belfast and Hamman start shooting at the sea to intercept the torpedo, but they can't.

Me: Nixi Launch.

In that moment a torpedo is launched towards the submarine, then the Nixi is deployed. Columbia had detected something strange in that torpedo. The torpedo was guided by sonar which left Columbia very puzzled. When the Nixi was deployed the enemy torpedo veers off and hits the countermeasure against torpedoes causing a large explosion to reverberate in the area.

Belfast: The enemy torpedo has been destroyed!

Enterprise: I'm done!

Meanwhile Columbia tries to discover the ship that fired that torpedo but never found it. Later Enterprise transfers Ning Hai to their ship so that her injuries do not worsen. Ping Hai took care of her sister throughout the journey.
