"Um it's not, it's not what it looks like." I stuttered

She raised an eyebrow. "Really? Because it looks like you two were making out."

"Ok, maybe it was exactly what it looked like." I said sheepishly.

Tim gave me a small glare and I shrugged in response.

"I'm going to go." I speed walked out of the office, ready to tell Nolan and Jackson what had happened.

...

"What do I do?" I asked them.

"I say you ask for a new T.O. Then maybe you could date without breaking the rules?" Nolan suggested.

"I agree, you should ask for a new T.O. But I don't think you should date yet. You can't be branded by this, wait till you make a name for yourself before you start dating him." Jackson said

"I would love to do that but I don't know if I can. It's impossible to keep away from him, the more I try the more I feel like I'm being pulled towards him." I explained.

"So what are you going to do?"

"Well I'm definitely going to ask for a new training officer but I'm not sure if we should date yet or not. I think I need to have a talk with Tim."

...

I took at my phone and went into messages, seeing the contact name I had put in for Tim when I first got his number.

           Model from the bar

I smiled at myself, thinking it's totally true though.

Lucy: Hey, we need to talk

Tim: What is there to talk about?

Lucy: Don't do that

Tim: Do what?

Lucy: Pretend it doesn't exist, you and I both know it does

Tim: Where do you want to meet?

Lucy: Las Torres sound good?

Tim: Be there in 15 mins

Tim finally arrived in the bar an eternity later.

"Hey." I said as he sat down.

"Hey Boot."

"So what should we do?" I asked, getting straight to the point.

"I'm not sure." He said. "I'm perfectly happy ignoring it."

"Well last time we tried ignoring it we ended up making out so that clearly doesn't work." I told him, annoyed.

"Okay so....what then?"

"I think I'm going to ask for a new training officer." I said.

"No." He replied quickly and I gave him a questioning look.

"I've always trained my rookies till they're done. I'm not stopping because of some......fling." He said.

"Okay I guess that makes sense. Hear me out. What if we just, get together. Keep it a secret, don't tell anyone." I suggested.

"Really? And you could just keep your mouth closed." He sounded skeptical.

"I can keep a secret!" I said, getting defensive. "But anyway, it probably won't work out anyway, but at least then we'll know, right?"

"Okay, let's do it."
