13 - Bumblebee and Lotus

"Am I too naive?"
the Bublebee asked,
sniffling to the lotus,
saddened by the world so vast.

"Am I too dumb,
to think I belong?
was it a mistake,
to put down my mask?"

"I think I was stupid,
to think I've grown,
this huge scary world,
is a big unknown."

"I was too delusional,
to think people stay,
yes I was,
because never have they."

The lotus listened,
to all her rants,
he embraced her in his petals,
keeping the world at bay.

Then he spoke,
the truth to her,
"Yes dear child,
naive you are."

"People staying abide,
is an impossible task,
yes, you are stupid,
to believe their words."

"Because people change,
this always occurs."
the words he spoke,
were daggers to heart.

The phrase he uttered,
sure were bitter,
but salt doesn't spoil,
is an undeniable fact.

The bee again questioned,
"So, the words they spoke,
were they a lie?
only meant to make me cry?"

The lotus rejoined,
"We don't know that just yet,
probably they were,
or probably not."

"If they were lie,
then you were stupid to believe,
even if they were true,
you should have expected them to leave."

"Because as I said,
people change,
the old one meant,
the now one not."

"Will I stay this stupid?
forever and ever?
I thought I grew,
but no I never."

"I'm still the same old dumbf,
believing people,
trusting them,
even when you warned."

"I'm scared of it becoming a trend,
because I want to believe,
but the world lets me down always.",
the bee, asked.

"Yes you're naive,
stupid to believe,
but that's who you are,
and that's not bad."

"That's how,
you've been made."
the lotus continued,
a bit furthermore,

"It's fine to be naive,
unknown of the world,
just don't belive,
the ones that are not you."

"Belive yourself,
and the voice inside,
because it has come,
directly from the divine."
