S1 E7: The Cave of Mystery

Chapter 2

Second POV

"Blue and Red should be back by now," said Yellow.

"Relax, they literally left a few minutes ago," Green said

Second started to fidget on the couch. He agreed with Green, but something didn't feel right. He tried to ignore it, but the feeling grew stronger and stronger until his whole body tingled. A vision suddenly flashed before his eyes. He gasped when he saw Blue and Red falling down somewhere dark and gloomy.

"What's wrong, Second," Yellow asks

"I...I think Blue and Red are in trouble."

"In trouble?" Green asks, surprised. "Why?"

"I don't know, I just got a feeling," Second said, "Come on!"

Green and Yellow gave each other skeptical glances before following him. They ran into the forest, calling for Blue and Red, but there was no answer.

"Where could they be?" Yellow asks

"Look! Down there." Green said

A giant hole was in the ground.

"You think they could have fallen there?" Yellow asks

"I believe so," said Second

"Wait!" Green said, "Do you guys feel that?"

Second felt the ground tremble as the hole started to crack.

"Run!" Yellow yelled

They ran as fast as they could, but they fell through the cracks.

"Is everyone ok?" Second asked, getting up.

"Yes," Yellow groaned, "Still not used to pain, though."

"Guys? Is that you?"

Second turned around to see Blue and Red

"Are you guys alright?"

"We're fine," Blue croaked.

"What's up with your voice?" Green asks

"It's just a little hoarse," Blue said, "How did you find us?"

"We fell through the hole," Second said

"Uh, what hole?" Red asks

Second looked up to see that the hole had disappeared

"What! It was just there a second ago!" Yellow exclaimed

"That's weird," Green said, "How are we supposed to get out of here?"

Second looked around to see a glowing green trail leading further into the cave. As he got closer, he felt the same tingle sense he had felt at the house. Could this be their way out?

"What are you looking at?" Red asks

"I think this might be our way out."

"What might be our way out, Second," Yellow said

Second noticed that everyone else was staring at him, confused.

"Can you guys see the glowing trail?"

"No," said Blue

Second stared back at the trail. He wasn't imagining it - it was still there.

How come the others couldn't see it? He wondered, Could it be his powers?

The trail was the same color as his powers. Maybe they only allow him to see it.

"Guys," he said, "I know this is going to sound crazy, but there is a trail here. If we follow it, I think we can get out of here."

"Really," said Green, doubtful.

"You have to trust me on this," Second said, "Please."

The others looked at each other for a second, then nodded.

"Alright, Second," Blue said, "Let's follow your trail."
