I was expecting the morning bell this time but it still scared the ever-loving bejeezus out of me and I groaned exhaustedly as I rolled out of bed. My nightmares had unfortunately made a reappearance last night and I hadn't got much sleep.

"Morning." Caspar said from where he sat in his bed.

"Morning. How come you're already up, I didn't wake you did I?" I didn't want to get on his nerves or keep him awake with my screaming, I already was fond of him.

"I got ready earlier so you could have the bathroom to yourself, y'know, to change in or something."

I smiled relieved, he was so sweet, Noah and Felix were crazy to think he would ever do anything weird to me.

"Thank you."

He blushed slightly and ducked his head.

I gathered the package my uniform was in and realised I hadn't tried it on to see if it fit yet. The boys uniforms were pretty regular, grey trousers, a shirt and a tie in the school colours with a blazer on top. I had assumed I would have trousers too seeing as they wouldn't make a whole new uniform just for one pupil, but when I tore open the paper and a skirt fell out along with a boy's shirt and tie. The PE kit that was with it was just plain navy shorts and top. I put on the uniform. The shirt fit well enough, if a little tight around the chest but when I put the skirt on I cringed. It was at least two sizes too small and fell barely to mid thigh. This was going to be a problem, I couldn't even bend over without flashing half the school. I sighed, I decided to go to reception at the first opportunity to get a larger skirt but for now this would have to do. I tugged the hem down as far as it would go, grabbed my bag, and stepped out the door.

Carter was already at the table again with Felix whose eyes widened when he saw my skirt. He wasn't the only one, as soon as I walked into the dining hall I had been getting stares from every boy there. I sat down newt to Felix and crossed my legs self-consciously in an attempt to protect myself from the looks. Felix nudged me,

"Damn Liss, are you a parking ticket?"

"What?" I asked, confused. "No?"

"'Cause you got 'fine' written all over you" he finished with a wink.

I giggled and blushed profusely. What was wrong with me? I never giggled. I knew he was joking but it still made me all flustered when he paired it with his trademark smirk.

A groan came from across the table where Ace was sitting. It was unfair that he got to be that gorgeous when he was such an asshole. He looked like a beautiful statue, with chiselled cheekbones and coal-black hair that fell jaggedly over his forehead. His smooth, pale skin only served to accentuate the dark circles under his eyes. He was muscular but in a leaner, more athletic way than Noah. He was glaring at Felix and I with a disgusted look.

"Can I help you?" I asked sarcastically.

"No don't mind me, just minding my business."

Noah turned sharply to face him.
