"Oh Mr. Carter, white is definitely your color!" the stylist exclaimed with excitement as she meticulously worked on my hair and applied a few final touches to my face. Grateful for her kind words, I smiled and thanked her, while stealing nervous glances at my reflection in the mirror. I couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and uncertainty, as the unknown awaited me.
"All done, Mr. Carter. Please wait in the dressing room—a staff member will be along shortly," she said with a smile, nodding approvingly at her styling on me, before packing up her supplies and taking her leave.
For a moment, I found myself alone in the spacious dressing room, surrounded by an array of fine suits. I chose to try the crisp white suit, a change from my usual black suit worn daily back in New York. Perhaps a change would do me some good, and the stylist was right—white did seem to suit me well.

As I waited, minutes seemed to drift by, allowing me to gaze at my reflection in the mirror. No phones were allowed before or during filming, I had nothing to occupy myself with but my own reflection. Staring into the mirror, I thought I looked rather neat. Which mattered greatly to me. Looking fresh and well-groomed. I was ready for what was to come.
Until I heard two knocks, expecting it then somebody entered. There they are, standing in front of me. It's the same person from the screening. He greets me with a warm smile, and I can't help but return the gesture.
