"She would have died," Carol countered. "Skrulls are stronger than humans. If she stays she will die."

"She is paranoid," Maria said. "That is good but not when it makes her look crazy."
"To be fair, she has no way of knowing who to trust and who not to," Steve responded.
"I wonder who that reminds us of," Tony asked, looking at Fury.
"I do trust you all. Just not full. I don't trust anyone that much," Nick Fury replied. "I prefer not to put all my eggs in one basket."
"That is the problem, Fury," Steve said. "You have trust issues. You have sent us on missions where we don't even know the full objective and some of the team has a separate assignment." At this he looked at Natasha before continuing. "It is fine not to fully trust us, but having secrets for your secrets, that is not. How can we hope to function as a perfect unit if we each have separate goals?"
