Script 15: Take another shot

Start from the beginning

"That's a shame, who is this someone else?" Suddenly, Sumin, the head cheerleader and also, conveniently the broadcasting club's president, took Sunghoon's cup and started acting like a host.

Wonyoung would then butt in with her own cup up to her mouth, "And if you didn't have someone else that you like- would Kazuha have a chance?"

They both push the cups toward Chaewon as if they were mics.

Everyone was invested, really.

But she sees Yunjin down another goddamn shot before excusing herself, whispering something to Sieun who was close to her, and then leaving.

Chaewon shakes her head, "You have to spin the bottle and pray to God it lands on me again."

She spins it and it lands on someone else. She takes this as a cue for her to slip away and look for Yunjin.

She sees Eunchae standing up, seemingly about to look for her cousin when Chaewon signaled to her that she'd take care of it.

Eunchae looked hesitant, but she slowly sat back down and watched Chaewon leave.

It took Chaewon a while before she finally found Yunjin.

She was leaning against the rails around the dock. The little lanterns put up along the rails were the only thing illuminating the area.

The lights were bright, though. Chaewon had no trouble seeing the whole area and the pathway towards the dock.

Yunjin stood there motionlessly. She looked deep in thought and Chaewon wondered what was happening inside her mind.

She wondered why Yunjin decided to be careless and kept drinking too much on this particular night.

She could have drank a ton yesterday night when everyone was partying but no, she just conveniently thought tonight was a better night to become wasted.

And the fact that she would keep downing more drinks when the bottle landed on Kazuha before proceeding to take more shots when Chaewon was suddenly involved.

But despite that, Chaewon would be lying if she said she wasn't worried about the taller girl. She hasn't talked to her outside of rehearsals.

She hasn't talked to her in a while in general...

After being at each other's homes and bedrooms, Chaewon somewhat knew that there would be some kind of shift between them.

But this wasn't what she expected. It was far from what she expected.

Believe it or not, she wanted to become more civil with Yunjin. Without arguing, without the negative feelings. Because Chaewon feels really happy with where she stands in life right now.

Minju is back in her life, she's having fun with theater rehearsals, and she's excited about the performance.

Huh Yunjin suddenly acting different and seemingly changing had shot through her life like a raging bullet.

It broke through her. It broke through her simple life.

Although Yunjin has done it before with the incident between them a year ago, it affected her differently this time.

And it annoys her that she couldn't understand what was different and why she felt different.

"Are you stupid? What are you getting so drunk for?"

Yunjin wasn't even surprised that she was there. So much so that she never looked at Chaewon at all.

"Why do you care?" Her tone was venomous. She sounded pissed off. But her words were slurred and Chaewon couldn't even be mad about it.
