Script 15: Take another shot

She wished she could use the excuse of having alcohol in her system for not catching on but she has yet to even take a shot.

Suddenly all of Kazuha's friends turned to look at her with a teasing expression but Kazuha only looked mortified.

The Japanese girl laughed awkwardly, "Uhm..." She looked around as if trying to ask someone for help but she couldn't find anyone who would back her up.

It was obvious that Wonyoung's question really put her on the spot.

Chaewon watched as Kazuha stared at Yunjin with fearful eyes. She looked hesitant as Yunjin stared back at her with a blank expression.

Chaewon wonders what is happening and Kazuha sighs, "I did have someone I used to like-"

"Say the name!!" Sunghoon shouts, causing everyone to do the same, chanting the words over and over as if to pressure Kazuha to say it.

She can just take a shot but Kazuha smiles sheepishly, gripping the cup and Chaewon watches Yunjin and Kazuha closely.

Yunjin was on the other side of the circle, far from her friends and Chaewon could easily turn her attention to the both of them without missing a single reaction.

Chaewon gets a slight hint as to why Kazuha was looking at Yunjin like that.

It crossed her mind that maybe the person Kazuha used to like was Yunjin-

"It's Chaewon," Kazuha said, and Chaewon saw Yunjin take a shot.

There were a lot of things happening at once. Kazuha looked embarrassed which was valid, her friends were going wild, the others were whistling and teasing the Japanese girl and Chaewon cursed Yunjin internally for taking a random shot.

Why would Yunjin just conveniently take a damn shot when Kazuha revealed that it was her? And since when did Kazuha like her?

They barely interacted before, they only shared a few classes here and there and Kazuha never approached her ever again when Yunjin left.

Chaewon almost thought that Kazuha hated her for what happened. There may have been a time like that-

Maybe that was when Kazuha stopped liking her. Maybe.

"Since when?!" Jongseong suddenly asks, eyes wide. Seems like the information has yet to sink in for him.

Well, Chaewon can't blame him. She, too, feels the same way.

"To ask me another question is to spin the bottle!" Kazuha spins the bottle without warning and just so happens to land on Chaewon.

Talk about great timing.

From Chaewon's peripheral, she sees Yunjin take another shot again and she grits her teeth.

What the fuck was Huh Yunjin doing??

But she shoves those thoughts aside as everyone's attention is now turned towards her.

Right after Kazuha's sudden "confession" she now has to deal with their questions for her.

"Following Kazuha's long overdue confession, what are your honest thoughts?" It was Sunghoon who asked, using his cup as a makeshift mic.

Chaewon playfully rolls her eyes at him. They all watch her closely, listening in as if she'd reveal that she, too, had a crush on Kazuha.

But that was far from her honest answer.

"I'm sorry, Zuha. I like someone else."

A mixture of disappointed sounds, chaotic laughter, and cheering was what came after Chaewon answered Sunghoon.
