"I'm curious. How come none of them has ever been caught by the academy yet?" Kyujin wondered, twirling her marshmallow around as she waited for it to cool down a bit.
"Well, we have Soobin oppa..." Eunchae points out. "And the other reason is that our friend groups consist of student leaders and club presidents, they get away with a lot of stuff."
That was a fact. The only reason why they haven't been caught with alcohol yet was because the academy trusts the student leaders and the club presidents too much.
It was kind of stupid of them but hey, that's an advantage the students get to have.
Kyujin hums in agreement. It made sense. They have captains in their circle, too.
As Heeseung and Jongseong happily pass the empty cups around, Eunchae glances at Yunjin every few seconds.
Her cousin chose to sit outside the little circle, she was off to the side, beside no one. She was all by herself and no one bothered to sit beside her.
Maybe they all noticed her change in behavior. How she has been quiet. How she seems to isolate herself and not include herself in these gatherings.
Like how she did earlier with the volleyball game.
Sunghoon was the one to pass her a plastic cup for the alcohol. Yunjin wordlessly takes it from him, only nodding as thanks.
No one tried to approach her as well. Except for Ryujin and the others, of course. They refused to bring up the sudden change. Eunchae has warned them beforehand.
She informed them about Yunjin's current mood and they all agreed to let Yunjin be for the rest of the night.
They did ask her if she wanted to still play with them.
Yunjin appreciated that they asked her first and she was fine with being part of the game.
"Everyone got a cup already?" Heeseung asks, looking around and looking at everyone's hands to check if they all had cups.
Everyone replied with a loud and cheerful "Yes!!" Before they all laughed at themselves. Eunchae watches as Yunjin stays poker-faced.
She did respond with the others, but she only whispered.
The only reason Eunchae stayed was because she was worried about Yunjin. She knows she can handle herself, she's older than Eunchae for crying out loud but the younger girl just couldn't leave her older cousin alone.
Nonetheless, if Kyujin wanted to leave, she'd leave with her.
"If you're tired and sleepy, just tell me so that we can go back to the room together." Eunchae pats Kyujin's arm and the girl just nodded her head while eating the marshmallow.
Eunchae knows they won't last long here anyway. They'd be bored after 30 minutes or so.
But their game started and it was Ryujin who picked the game. It was a simple game of truth or drink. They spin the bottle and whoever it lands on has to either tell the truth or drink to protect themselves.
It was simple enough but interesting.
Everyone has their secrets, right? And it would be fun for people to have to tell the truth just to save themselves from getting wasted.
Sakura takes an empty bottle, no one knows where it came from and looks at each and every one of them with a smirk on her face before spinning the bottle really hard.
It spun around a ton of times and as they all watched it spin, everyone was starting to get nervous but at the same time, excited.
Jimin was the one who particularly loved this game. Not only will she be able to get new information from all these students, but she might as well just write about this in the newspaper.
