Script 14: Slowly breaking

The moment between the two girls seemed really personal and intimate, she thought it would be rude of her to point it out to everyone so she kept her mouth shut.

"Are you feeling okay?" Chaewon turns and sees Jongseong, he looks sleep-deprived and at the same time, he looks like he's been sleeping for years. Chaewon doesn't know how that could even happen but she digresses.

Chaewon stops herself from laughing in his face and swallows the food she was just munching on, "You! The nerve for you to ask me that after you literally let me down drink after drink!"

She slapped his arm as he sat down on the empty chair beside her, it was supposed to be Sakura's seat but Chaewon didn't tell him that anymore as it seemed that Sakura wouldn't be coming back to join them.

"Hey! Don't blame me! You were the one who didn't want to listen to me! You were literally about to fight me when I tried to take the alcohol from you!"

Chaewon scoffs, she can't believe that she did that while drunk.

"Then you shouldn't have asked me to drink in the first place, stupid." She rolled her eyes as Sunghoon gave Jongseong a plate, dropping the empty plate on the table in front of him.

"I thought you took one for me already??" Sunghoon raises an eyebrow at him, "I told you I'd get you a plate, not food." He sat down on another seat across from Jongseong.

"Now stand the fuck up and get your own." He points at the table filled with food as Jongseong groans, "You're such a pain in the ass, Hoon."

Sunghoon looked proud as Jongseong glared at him, standing up while taking the plate with him. When he was gone, he immediately turned and looked Chaewon dead in the eyes.

"What the fuck did you do?" Chaewon was startled but Sunghoon acted like this was normal. He did this a lot back then, too.

Chaewon rolls her eyes, "God, I just woke up, I don't have time for this."

"Oh, but you do, Kim Chaewon."

Wonyoung snickered beside Chaewon as Sunghoon dramatically pointed at her. Can anyone be as extra as Sunghoon? Chaewon doesn't know.

"You have a lot of explaining to do," Wonyoung jokingly said as she elbowed Chaewon on the side. Chaewon could only groan. She was so over it.

"Seriously, what is there to explain?"

"Explain where the fuck you went last night!" Sunghoon raises his voice a little.

"I don't even remember! I went with Jongseong and then-" Suddenly all of the events from last night flashed back to her. It hit her like a truck as she remembered the conversation she had with Jongseong.

She admitted that she left their table because she wanted to avoid Huh Yunjin. It was all fine until Jongseong asked why.

By the time Chaewon responded, she had already drunk too much alcohol and she started going on and on about how Sieun pointed out that Yunjin acts differently around her.

That her different behavior was making it harder for Chaewon to find ways to keep on hating her and it was weird and strange and-

Chaewon realizes that she just started talking about Huh Yunjin to Jongseong.

But she does remember mentioning the practice game and how she saw Kim Minju-

Now Jongseong knows her problems.

She winced at the thought. Of all people, it had to be Jongseong. Park Jongseong who literally tried to court her not long ago.

But to be fair, Chaewon doesn't even know if Jongseong truly is interested in her. She knows for a fact that the only reason they all did that was because they wanted to take Jaeyun's spot.
