Script 14: Slowly breaking

Start from the beginning

Kazuha couldn't wrap her head around the idea of Yunjin acting as if Chaewon was the greatest person in her life.

She gives Chaewon too much credit when she has been nothing but cruel to her.

"You're fucking stupid for loving a girl with nothing but hatred toward you," Kazuha mutters before standing up and leaving.

When Kazuha left, only then did Yunjin realize the tears that were now rapidly falling down her face.

Their argument had frustrated her so much to the point that she could no longer handle her emotions well.

This was the first time Yunjin and Kazuha got into a fight.

And the first time Yunjin denied the truth.

Chaewon and the others were eating together when Kazuha walked out. At the same time, Sakura was walking around the beach when Kazuha suddenly came out of the rented area.

The older girl was too busy taking pictures of the place when Kazuha ran into her. She almost dropped her phone but Kazuha caught it mid-air and held Sakura close.

It was as if they were two magnets suddenly coming in contact with each other. Kazuha's arm was around Sakura's waist as the other held the phone tightly.

Sakura was startled of course. Kazuha came out of nowhere and she surely wasn't expecting to see her so soon.

"Woah, hey-..." Kazuha had dropped her head on the older girl's shoulder and she stood still in her spot. Sakura didn't move either, too caught up with Kazuha's sudden behavior.

The younger girl wasn't always like this but she knew Kazuha was a sweet girl, but something was off.

"Are you okay, Kazuha-chan?" Sakura would whisper in Japanese and somehow, with that small gesture, Kazuha felt a bit safe. After a few seconds, Kazuha would slowly shake her head.

Sakura felt her heart break at the small movement.

She thinks that the girl must have been very upset for her not even to say a word. She only responded to Sakura by nodding and shaking her head.

"Do you want to tell me?"

Kazuha shakes her head and Sakura hums, "That's alright. Do you want to get out of here?"

Sakura waited for a few seconds, and the younger Japanese would then slowly nod her head. Sakura nods, too and she checks if she feels any wetness on her shoulder. She was checking if the younger girl was crying.

There was nothing and that made her sigh in relief until Kazuha pulled away slightly and Sakura saw her tear-filled eyes, shining against the harsh sunlight.

It was as if she was stopping her tears from falling. Her lower lip was slowly jutted out, like a kid. Sakura can't help but find her cute in this state but she pushes those thoughts aside and reaches up to wipe Kazuha's tears away before it even falls.

"It's okay, Zuha. I got you." She whispered as Kazuha closed her eyes and let Sakura wipe her tears for her.

The older girl cups her cheeks when she's done and Kazuha slowly opens her eyes, "Let's go?"

Kazuha doesn't talk, she nods and Sakura smiles up at her. "Come on."

She holds onto Kazuha's hand and pulls her with her. Sakura doesn't know where they are headed, she just knows that she'll have to take Kazuha out of there.

At least a place without many people would do.

As they leave, Chaewon watches them from afar. She was the only one who noticed the two Japanese girls leaving. She witnessed the whole thing and stopped herself from reacting.
