Script 14: Slowly breaking

"About Chaewon?" Yunjin tried to give her more information, and it was as if something clicked inside Kazuha's head, and her eyes suddenly widened.

She gulps, "Oh shit, didn't he make a weird comment about Jongseong and Chaewon?"

"That's exactly what I was asking you," Yunjin confirms, and Kazuha bites her lip, brows slightly furrowing.

"Now that I think about it, it's kind of a dead giveaway..."

Yunjin groans and reaches up to hold onto her head. "Fuck. I knew it..."

"Oh, but who knows, right?? Maybe he was just being silly! No one would think that-"

"As much as I want to think that way, there is no way people would be that dumb, Zuha."

Kazuha shuts her mouth and winces at the thought.

They literally have the most nosy students in the academy. The first example is Yu Jimin who writes about the students in the newspapers.

Second is Yang Jungwon who acts like a stalker with his camera, somehow always being present in every goddamn event and incident.

So maybe people are not that dumb.

And students in their school love drama and always love to assume.

"Choi Yeonjun and his fucking mouth," Kazuha says under her breath, now feeling the same frustration as Yunjin.

The redhead laughs at Kazuha.

Well, at least she's not the only one stressing over this.

She tried to shrug the topic off as she thought of a different topic to talk about with Kazuha.

"So... Sakura?"

"God..." It was now Kazuha's turn to hold her head and Yunjin laughed loudly, "What? I just mentioned her name!"

"If you're going to ask what's happening, I don't know. Please don't ask me again!"

Yunjin rolls her eyes, "You're being dramatic. You two were dancing all night long! Until Yeonjun had to do stupid shit and break you guys off."

Kazuha scratched the back of her head, seemingly struggling to find the words to explain to Yunjin that she and Sakura had been talking.

"We're only friends..."

Yunjin scoffs, "I have a hard time believing that."

The Japanese girl glares at her, elbowing Yunjin, making the girl wince and protest.

"We're nothing more than just... project partners who became close."

"Poor you, we're not much different, then."

"You and Chaewon aren't friends."

"Way to put salt on the wound..." Kazuha pats her back, mumbling a soft apology and Yunjin just chuckles.

Yunjin has noticed this, though. Kazuha was more interested in her phone whenever they were all together. After practices and every short water break, she'd be on her phone, typing away.

Yunjin was definitely happy for her. Kazuha would be smiling from ear to ear. She wouldn't even be surprised if Kazuha suddenly told them that they were dating.

But it seems that right now, they're nothing more than friends. Yunjin still roots for them, anyway.

"Do you think you'll be able to befriend Chaewon?"

The question was sudden and it caught Yunjin off guard. She never really expected Kazuha to ask this question.

The redhead laughs, leaning against the sofa and crossing her arms, "That's such a hard question,"
