Script 14: Slowly breaking

No matter what Chaewon does, Yunjin just keeps on adoring her. Even if it was something bad that could hurt Yunjin.

Even if it was something that involved being mean to her.

That's just what liking someone does to a person. They become dumb.

Seeing Chaewon joke around with Jongseong stung. She was so pretty, smiling and laughing but it hurt Yunjin deeply.

How many people would Yunjin be jealous of before Chaewon finally directs that smile towards her?

It was just sad knowing the fact that Yunjin could get jealous of thousands of people, maybe even millions, and yet Chaewon would never give her just that one small thing.

Yunjin wonders if she were Jongseong, what would Chaewon feel? It was hard to think about. It was devastating to think about.

But out of all the people Yunjin would be jealous of, Kim Minju will always take the cake. She's not here and yet Yunjin knows she's the only one that Kim Chaewon has eyes for. Even if she isn't around.

Even if she hasn't been present.

Yunjin knows Minju is just a call and a text away from Chaewon.

Suddenly, in the middle of watching everyone play, Sakura came up to her.

The older girl tapped her and she was surprised to see that it was Sakura who wanted to get her attention.

She turns and looks at Kazuha before looking back at Sakura, she knows they were talking earlier. Maybe Sakura was there to confront her about what happened.

So she prepares herself for the worst.

"They're insane aren't they?" Sakura started and Yunjin smiled, nodding.

"They're always insane." She responded. She took her eyes off Chaewon for a while and decided to watch her younger cousin this time.

Eunchae was running around, smiling, and being goofy. She was just being herself and it instantly put a soft smile on Yunjin's lips.

She has been so caught up with her own things for the past few days, she barely spent time with Eunchae.

Now that she thinks about it, she wants to make it up to Eunchae and spend time with her.

Maybe that was the only thing she was supposed to think about... maybe all she needed to do was focus on her friends and focus on Eunchae.

She felt bad for being too busy for Eunchae now.

Sakura chuckles beside her and points towards Eunchae, "Eunchae is always so energetic."

"Of course. That kid never gets tired."

Sakura hummed, agreeing.

Yunjin didn't know why Sakura was suddenly talking to her. If she wasn't going to confront her about Kazuha then what did she want to talk to Yunjin about?

It surely isn't about the volleyball game.... It surely isn't about Eunchae, either.

So she waited until Sakura finally spoke up again.

"Do you want to come with me? I was planning to buy everyone a drink, I don't think I'd be able to carry everything on my own."

And who was Yunjin to say no when Sakura asked her with a soft smile? She looked like she wouldn't start a fight with Yunjin anyway.

She has talked to Sakura before. She has always been nice, and very gentle but also very loud when she's with her friends.

She's always making fun of Sunghoon with Wonyoung and Yunjin would often see her joking around with Yena and the others way back then.
