Script 14: Slowly breaking

It became so chaotic that Sumin's team lost. Wonyoung didn't care, she was happy that she was able to play with Yujin. She even almost looked like she was about to faint when Yujin pat her on the back, smiling at her, "Good game!"

Sunghoon had to stand up and stand behind her just in case she really did faint. Fortunately, she didn't but she shrieked and almost choked Sunghoon as she hugged him tight. On the neck.

Jongseong came up behind Chaewon and tapped her shoulder.

"Want to play with me and Jungwon?"

Chaewon looked up and Jungwon greeted her with a huge grin. Chaewon chuckles before standing up, "Sure. Who are we against?"

"Yeonjun, Eunchae, and Aeri."

Chaewon winced when she saw the three looking smug. Yeonjun was a tall basketball player, Eunchae was a very hyper kid, and Aeri...

She is the real threat out of the three. Uchinaga Aeri is one of the greatest volleyball players in their school. Kyujin was catching up to her at being the ace. But Jang Kyujin seemed to only cheer for Hong Eunchae as she sat on the side.

"Ahh... we're dead."

"Noona, if you want, we can pull Jimin noona and play 4v4 with them?" Jungwon suggested and Chaewon immediately turned to look at Jimin who was now sitting beside Minjeong, taking care of the younger girl.

She laughs at the thought of Jimin playing against Aeri and nods, "Go on, call her."

Jongseong nods and immediately calls out to Jimin.

Chaewon started walking towards the net and caught a glimpse of Huh Yunjin standing on the other side. She was standing far from Kazuha but closer to her other friends. Minji and Hanni were standing beside her as she quietly watched them.

Since when was she here?

Yizhuo was there, too, talking to Yunjin from time to time. Chaewon sees Eunchae wave towards Yunjin and the redhead's lips curl up into a smile, nodding towards the younger girl as she did.

Something was definitely off.

She finally looks away, not wanting to get caught like how she did last night.

The game starts with Jimin who didn't want to be there and Aeri's team suddenly pulling Isa to play with them.

The match had taken Huh Yunjin from Chaewon's mind for a while.

Huh Yunjin didn't like seeing Jongseong and Chaewon together. As if that wasn't obvious.

Yunjin just couldn't understand Kim Chaewon.

Why was she out here playing with Jongseong? Laughing and having fun with that boy...

As far as Yunjin knows, he was a menace, too.

She doesn't even give Yunjin the time of day. It was unbelievable.

Yunjin felt the same way last night when she saw them together but she quickly blamed it on the alcohol. Right now, though, it was a different story. She didn't have any alcohol in her system.

There was no booze to control her emotions. She was completely sober. The only thing controlling her was her unfiltered emotions.

That was what she truly felt. Her raw unfiltered emotions.

She kept watching them.

Chaewon was so beautiful under the golden color of the sky as the sun slowly disappeared. Yunjin couldn't help but sigh. Despite the annoyance she felt about the smaller girl, she just couldn't shake off the affection she had for her.
