I yawn as I put away the cash box. I need some sleep and I have to get up early to make breakfast for her. I thought as I walked out from behind the counter and start to walk to the private rooms.

Suddenly the door flies past me and I scream and I mean I screamed. I turn around to see a man walks into the inn. He has a large scar across his left eye and other scars cover his face. He has black hair and a pair of blood red eyes. He is wearing a black overcoat and a extremely dark gray dress shirt. His hands are still glowing red from whatever magic he had just used.

"Where is the princess" He says in a demanding voice.

"That--that door-- it almost hit me." I say shaking. The man starts to approach me.

"WHERE IS THE PRINCESS!!" He yells as he slams me against the wall holding me by the neck.

"We don't have a princess here sir." I stutter gripping my neck for air. I hear a door open and in the corner of my eye I see Lilith come out of her room. Her beautiful eyes are wide and alert. No stupid me it's not the time for love you need to focus on living.

Just as Lilith layed eyes onto the man. He lets me go. Within a seconds he is charging at her. The little bird Sperantia flys out from behind her. Sperantia starts to glow and before I know it Sperantia, Lilith and I are outside.

I look around and spot my inn, moments before it blows up. My eyes begin to fill with tears as the smoke clears and I see that nothing is left but a crater and flames. I fall to my knees and start to cry.

"We need to keep moving" Lilith whisperes to me softly. I nod and stand up. We start to walk away from the village.

For a while we were quite. Untill I finally muster up the courage to ask the question "Who was he??"

"It was the Darkness. And it killed the royal family-- my family." Lilith response was said in a terrible tone.

"Oh--oh ok... That confirms my guess!!!" I whisper.

"You knew? I should have used my Illusion magic" She whispers underneath her breath.

"I can help you if you want?" I say as I try to smile at her.

"Glamour magic?" She ask as she raises an eyebrow.

"Oh no no no no. With clothes and hair. I don't even have magic." I say my smile finally feeling true.

We continue to walk and talk. There are even some laughs. Sperantia flys next to us sometimes taking a rest on one of our heads or shoulders. I look up and see that the sun had started to set. Lilith follows my gaze and looks up.

"We should try to find a place for the night." I say.

"But we need to keep going to stay ahead of it." Lilith protests.

"We don't want to be walking all night and all day. Plus it's getting dark fast. If we don't stop one of us could fall and get hurt." I remind her.

As Lilith opens her mouth to say something she pauses to yawn. I smerk at her and smile.

"Oh alright let's get some rest. That tree over there looks good." She says giggleing.

"It looks perfect." I agreed.

As we walk over to the tree I help Lilith climb up to it's branches and she pulls me up. Sperantia of course fly's up.

"Night" Lilith says.

"Sleep tight" I respond getting into a comfortable place.

*Tweet!* Sperantia says.

As I close my eyes I think of my inn and if I'll ever go back to the village.

_-_-_Lilith's POV_-_-_

My eyes shoot open as I here a loud crash. I cautiouly get up from the bed and walk over to the door. I open it and poke my head out. And oh my what a sight

Just as I layed eyes on it. It lets go of Lila's neck. Within a seconds it is charging at me. The Sperantia flys out from behind me. She starts to glow and in seconds, her Lila and I are outside. Lila starts to look around and her eyes stop. I look where she is looking but before I can focus my vision it blows up. I look over to Lila with sympathy as her eyes start to water. I look back to see a crater and flames in place of her inn. She falls to her knees and starts to cry.

I neal down next to her and whisper to her softly "We need to keep moving." She nods and stands up. We start to walk away from the village.

For a while we were quite. Untill she finally asked the question "Who was he??"

"It was the Darkness. And it killed the royal family-- my family." I said in a sad tone.

"Oh--oh ok... That confirms my guess!!!" She whispered.

"You knew? I should have used my Illusion magic" I silently cures at myself.

"I can help you if you want?" She says a sad smile on her face.

"Glamour magic?" I ask as I rase an eyebrow.

"Oh no no no no. With clothes and hair. I don't even have magic." She says her smile turning more real. I decided not to go deeper on the matter, and push it aside.

As we walk we continue to talk and laugh. Sperantia flys next to us sometimes taking a rest on one of our heads or shoulders. Lila looks up and see that the sun had started to set. I follow her gaze and look up to see that the sun had started to set.

"We should try to find a place for the night." She says.

"But we need to keep going to stay ahead of it." I protests not wanting to have it catch up with us.

"We don't want to be walking all night and all day. Plus it's getting dark fast. If we don't stop one of us could fall and get hurt." She reminds me.

As I open my mouth to say something but pause to yawn. Lila smerks at me and smiles.

"Oh alright let's get some rest. That tree over there looks good." I say giggleing.

"It looks perfect." She agreed.

As we walk over to the tree Lila helps me climb up to it's branches then I pull her up. Sperantia flys up of course.

"Night" I say rearranging my position.

"Sleep tight" She responds.

*Tweet!* Sperantia says.

As I close my eyes I think what a wonderful person I'm stuck with, in a horrible series of events.

Ok I was writing this for 2 class periods (1 hour each) a bus ride home (45 mins) and about 30 mins at home. I think that 3 hours and 15 minutes is enough time to write a good chapter. Ok now I have science homework so I'll go be doing that.

Have fun and happy reading!! Byebye!

Also like please eat something and drink something. I have not and I feel like trash.

Ok this time for real
Have fun, be kind and happy reading!! Bye bye!
