Death The Final Frontier

"Admiral we had to take the mains off the line the radiation has flooded Engineering I had to send Scotty and the others to sickbay"  Kirk hears Anansa say through the com "alright"  he replies "remember he still has Genesis he may be inclined to use it at some point.... he doesn't like to lose either and who knows what it will do to the Nebula"  she says before turning of Engineering's com..... a few minutes later Anansa is proven right for when the Enterprise crippled his ship and ordered him to surrender Khan used the Genesis Device in hopes that would destroy his "greatest nemesis" Spock rushes to Engineering as Kirk calls up to Engineering and says "Anansa I need Warp Speed in 3 minutes or we're all dead"  Anansa replies "I'll do my best but make no promises"  hearing his wife's voice through the com Spock walks off the Bridge to go help her when he reaches Engineering he finds her working all by herself and no one else in the room for she did indeed send them all to Sickbay his eyes widen when he realizes where exactly she is inside the lethally irradiated dilithium Reactor Room doing her best to fix the Reactor and though she is wearing a radiation suit he still worries about her "figured you'd come down here"  she says with a smile when she sees him he opens the Reactor Room door and walks inside "Spock!"  she says softly "I will not allow you to do this by yourself!"  he says "I'm protected, you're not"  she replies "I don't care!"  he says he looks into her eyes and whispers "I will not make that mistake again!"  she asks "what mistake!?"  he replies as he places his fingers along the side of her face "not linking with you"  he kisses her lips fearing that this will be the last time he feels their sweet softness she sighs once he lets her lips go but because they don't have a lot of time she skips the argument.... which she would quite possibly lose anyway and allows him to help her because his stubborn ass would never take no for a answer and help her anyway.... "Admiral.... you're going to want to come and say goodbye"  Kirk hears Anansa say through the Com "goodbye!?!"  Kirk asks "well I did send everyone to Sickbay and I believe you're missing a Science Officer"  she replies Kirk looks around and realizes that Spock is not on the Bridge he stands up and says "Saavik, take the Con"  then rushes to the Turbolift.... Anansa looks down at Spock and says "even Vulcan's aren't immune to Radiation"  he chuckles she kneels down and says "I will find you and bring you home I promise!"  he leans forward and kisses her lips then watches as she leaves the Reactor Room passing by Kirk who stares at her in shock "Vulcans don't believe in goodbyes"  she tells him he chuckles "I'm going to go tell his father and don't you dare enter that room he wouldn't want the both of you to die!"  she tells him as she walks past him and out of the room he looks around and sees that no one was inside and realizes that she was also in the Reactor Room with Spock and becomes shocked that she wasn't affected then he remembers that she's a magical being with regenerative abilities and though she wasn't dead or dying she was indeed affected in one too many ways when he walks over to the Radiation Room he finds Spock hugging one of her tails which had fallen off do to the radiation like it was the most precious thing in the universe it was then he realized just how weak she had looked while still staying strong much like Spock is right now as he in his own way says goodbye.... Anansa heads to her quarters and contacts Sarek letting him know what his son did, that she has his sons Katra and just as she did with his son she promises him that she would find a way to bring his son back to Vulcan "he's cursed with your stubbornness"  she tells him his eyes smile "my parents and daughter should be heading to Vulcan I'm really not sure how I can explain this one"  she says he nods then replies "I will take care of it"  she smiles a half smile and says "I'm sorry I could not stop him"  he replies "as you said we Vulcans are stubborn"  she chuckles Sarek had noticed that her tails seemed to have lost their fluff and realizes that she was also in the Reactor Room he surmised before his son had entered which made him realize that his granddaughter could have lost both parents but he was glad that she didn't "when....!?"  he asks "just as I was about to open the Reactor itself so he got the highest amount of Radiation from the very start"  she replies he nods "I lost a tail he lost his mind!"  she says he allows a small smile to grace his lips "I'll pretend I didn't see that!"  she teases "thank you"  he says with smiling eyes "I'm a fast worker having him in there slowed me down"  she says "he could not imagine a world without you and neither could I"  he replies "yes, but now we all have to live in a world without him and that is so much sadder"  she says he nods she gives him a Vulcan Salute and he returns one then they shut down the communication and she prepares for a funeral.... Anansa stands next to Kirk during Spock's funeral "I'm not sure I belong here!"  she whispers in a voice so low only he could hear her "he would want you here"  he replies she nods he takes her hand in his as he says "we are assembled here today to pay final respects to our honored dead and yet it should be noted that, in the midst of our sorrow, this death takes place in the shadow of new life, the sunrise of a new world, a world that our beloved comrade gave his life to protect and nourish he did not feel this sacrifice a vain or empty one, and we will not debate his profound wisdom at these proceedings of my friend, I can only say this of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most human"  Anansa raises a eyebrow at him and he hides a smile as Sulu says "Honors! hup"  and Scotty plays Amazing Grace on the Bagpipes as they all watch Spock's casket slide down and out of the ship into space.... after the funeral Anansa heads to the Docking Bay Kirk follows her and asks "what are you doing!?!"  she replies "you paid your respects in your way and now I must keep a promise so his people can do it in theirs, I'm going to find his casket and take it home and I have a feeling I know exactly where he is!"  he nods then walks away and as he walks away he becomes confused at what her last words meant even as he stared at the answer through the Viewscreen on the Bridge he still couldn't figure them out....

Anansa, Synnøve, Zakiya, Lucien and Cyllene search the Genesis Planet for Spock Synnøve, Zakiya, Lucien and Cyllene had sensed Anansa's pain and sorrow and when they found her she explained to Synnøve that her father was lost and she was trying to find him so they split up and searched for Spock Lucien and Cyllene were the first to find him as a child no older than 5 years old holding onto one of their daughters tails like it was a security blanket and wrapped up in a robe that is far too big for him they are surprised to find a child on the seemingly empty planet they become even more surprised when the boy grows a age or so older right before their eyes and they figure out that the boy is somehow Spock and they cautiously walk towards him at first he seemed afraid but he gradually walked over to them possibly grateful he was not alone on the lonely planet Synnøve and Zakiya walk over and sees the child Spock "hello Spock I'm Synnøve though my parents call me "Sunflower" so if you prefer to call me that you can and this is Zakiya though I call her "Sunshine".."  Synnøve says softly it took Spock a few moments to cozy up to them as well but once he starts to become more comfortable in their presence they take him to a warm cave and play a few games to help him alleviate his fear that they all know he feels "I saw his casket but I left it where I found it just in case someone else comes looking for him"  she informs her grandparents who nod.... Anansa who was meditating and trying to connect with Sarek to let him know his son has been found and what had happened to him for she could sense his living presence not his dead one like she expected to find but this presence though she knew it was him was also different and she was about to find out how for when she found him he was just starting to go through Pon Far "he is going through Pon Farr which with how fast he's regenerating must make it more painful than usual, I'll take care of him you four continue on your way to Vulcan"  she tells Synnøve, Zakiya, Lucien and Cyllene who nod then walk over and hug her then leave "this is so strange!"  she whispers to herself when she's alone with Spock she walks over to him kneeling before him and sliding her fingers over his "it's ok Spock the pain should be gone soon, my Sunset"  she whispers softly he looks at her and she sees.... recognition in his eyes something she did not expect to see as he copies her motions with his own fingers like it's the most natural thing in the world to do with her though his eyes and body seem to beg for something more.... Kirk was shocked to find Sarek on Earth what shocked him even more was that Sarek informed him that not only was Spock alive he was on the Genesis planet "my daughter in law states that you would want to be the one who picks them up"  Sarek tells him "she does know me quite well!"  Kirk replies with a smile "I am trusting you as she would to help her keep her promise and bring him home"  Sarek says "she has a shuttle...."  Kirk replies with a curious confused tone "at this moment in time it would not be wise for her to leave the planet for there is another Federation ship in orbit and if she is seen leaving on the shuttle she fears she may be thought of as a enemy, my son has given her his Katra, his living spirit and if they are both lost now then it truly would be for good"  Sarek tells him he nods.... Kirk was able to get the rest of his regular crew who are also his as well as Spock and Anansa's best friends to help him break a lot of Federation rules to get their friends back and take them to Mount Seleya on Vulcan to help them be one and at peace once more.... Saavik and David who are on the USS Grissom find it odd that they cannot beam down to the Genesis Planet it isn't till a few seconds before the Klingon ship arrives that they are finally able to beam down to the surface but they are placed in a part of the planet much further away from where they had set the coordinates which they found odd but they trudge on anyway hoping they can once again find what it is they're searching for but before they do they are captured by a group of Klingons who order them to give them the "power of Genesis" and while they are being interrogated by a Klingon they hear Kirk's voice through their (Saavik and David) Communicator which gives them hope that they soon will be rescued
